This is a soft feeling fabric. The liner is form fitting, but not really compression. These types of liners hold some water, so they feel a little heavier in the water. It’s not a problem, they just feel different than you might expect. The inseam is typical for today’s standards. The gradient is nice looking. The swimsuit is made well with strong seams. This is what you would expect for a swimsuit in this price range. It’s a nice swimsuit for any age.

These men’s swim trunks do exactly what they’re supposed to and they do it well. They’re comfortable, dry quickly, and have been great for my routine lap swim days. No complaints at all.The compression liner adds good support without being too tight, and while I personally don’t use the inside pocket, it’s a thoughtful feature that others might find useful.Overall, a solid choice for anyone looking for a good quality swim trunks at a great value.

Yes, the size chart is correct. I wanted a 35” waist, the size chart said to order 2XL, and it was right. It fits as expected.I ordered this for the inner snug-fitting shorts, to hold everything in place when swimming or walking the beach. When they first arrived, the inner shorts were a little less snug than expected. However, after one washing and air drying, they seem to fit better.I was surprised to find such wide ROUGH seams on the INSIDE. They look painful. I have worn this around the house, but not for very long. It’s going to take a day at the beach before I can really test it for long-term comfort. I think it’s going to work, though.Note to manufacturer: Why not just put those seams on the outside of the inner shorts? Nobody is going to see them through the outer suit, and the result will give us a much softer place for certain body parts to reside.Graphics are awesome. It looks great.Sewing and overall quality are good.I like them, and will put an update below if anything changes after my first day on the beach with them.

I really enjoy the design of these swim shorts. They have a bandanna-like pattern that I typically associate with gym shorts, which is quite unique.These shorts are quite lightweight and dry fairly quickly. I did consider using them for gym workouts, but the liner seems a bit impractical for that purpose. Nonetheless, they are visually appealing and very comfortable to wear. The drawstring is made of shoelace material, which functions well, although it doesn't have that modern flair. The mesh pockets are a nice touch, but I wouldn't recommend taking anything into the water with you while wearing them.In summary, these swim trunks are a decent choice if you're looking for something thin and lightweight, but they don't quite reach the level of premium quality.

The size chart is accurate. I do not normally wear and XL but the chart said I should and they fit well.These are very comfortable when dry; the lining is nice. When they are wet, though, the lining feels a bit weird.Drying time seems average for swim trunks.

I got these black-gradient shorts for my 15 year old grandson who likes his clothes loose. He wears XLs for the loose fit, so the same thing with these swim shorts.The family is staying in a hotel, for at least a month, with a nice, indoor swimming pool and hot tub. From what I've been told he's only been in the pool once. With shorts and undies. I'm hoping he gets in the water more now, now that he has swim shorts.The material of the inside compression shorts is very sleek, and of a soft comfortable fabric. So is the outer layer. The waist has good elastic, a well-sewn waist band, so there will be no turning or flipping of elastic at the waist band. The tie front has nice, long strings to tighten the waist if needed. A HUGE plus is that since the ties are nice and LONG they won't become hidden inside the waist band. Short ties are always a problem .I read a couple other reviewers reviews who had made a statement about a hidden inside pocket on the inner compression shorts. I can't find that pocket on these black/white pair. Some other colors might have that pocket. The compression shorts are a pattern of a gray/white tie-dye.The outer layer has two open side pockets. Fine if the shorts are just used for lounging, but the two side pockets are only about the same depth as jean pockets but don't benefit from the snugness that jeans allow those pockets. Things are going to fall out of these shorts pockets. Easily done when sitting, or when active. Zip pockets would have been better.These are nice swim trunks, good quality, comfortable, they quickly dry, and sewn well. The only draw-back would be the lack of zip pockets.

These swim trunks really surprised me—in a good way.When I first showed my wife the product photos, her reaction was, “They don’t really look like you.” But once they arrived and I tried them on, that changed. They fit perfectly, and she immediately said they looked great on me. I’m pretty easy to please—so, if she thinks they look great, I take that as a win.The material feels high quality, and the stitching and construction seem solid. We spend a lot of time vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, so I’ve bought plenty of swim trunks over the years—and these look like they’ll hold up just as well as anything I’ve found in stores down there.I’ll be wearing these around the house this summer for pool days in our backyard. And with several patterns available, there’s a style here for just about everyone.
