I really like these chains. They have a really nice weight to it and feels really good. They are also Titanium Nitrate (TiN) vapor coated, so it should be very durable. TiN is a golden ceramic material that is both safe and quite durable. Its probably more durable than if it was really gold plated. But the color is not quite gold looking. I would describe them as lemon coated chrome. I still like the style though, as one of the styles a kinda of a dupe of a designer hardball style.If you use XRF Analyzer at a pawn shop, its easy to figure out there is no real gold in this. So the advertisement of 14K gold is just "marketing" at best and counterfeit at worst and really should not be used. The reality is that Titanum Nitrate offers about 3 gold colors to resemble 14k, 18k, 24k. They picked the 14k TiN matched color. However, this DOES NOT mean there is any gold in the finished product.

I ordered this nice chunky gold plated necklace set because it looked like a really nice shade of realistic gold. I’ve ordered some gold plated jewelry in the past that looks very fake or “too gold “ iykyk. This set is very shiny and smooth also has very nice lobster clasps. The smaller chain has a cute little clear stone at the end of the extension chain. This set can be worn together or one at a time which is nice depending on what look you are going for. I think they will look really good with tank tops and v-necks this summer. I really love the toggle chain necklace the most and will probably wear it the most as it’s easy to put on.
