I think the quality of the build on this product has been well documented in previous reviews. I do want to address the issue about capacity. The attached picture shows 4 l of water in the Dry bag. There is a floating spoon in there to Show the level of the water, and you will note that there is still 3" of freeboard to the top of the bag. Case closed, end of subject.

The cages are fairly nice on their own and can be used with bigger bags like I’m planning to do, but I would have rather not needed that step. Better cages on their own can certainly be had for the price.

Easy to install, incredibly sturdy plastic, good bag quality. I'm a 100% satisfied with the product. Used them for a bikepacking trip and I've been able to strap my whole tent (Nemo Hornet 2P), sleeping mat and bike tools in the two bags. Thanks Gorix!

These are definitely waterproof. Rained on me and they stayed completely dry inside. There is an issue for me in keeping them from sliding around. I do not have screw-in mounts on my forks. I have shocks. So there are zip ties included in the kit that are used to secure the mount to the fork. The zip ties are not enough to hold them in position. They spun around and were hitting on the spokes. I had some bungee cords that I attached to the mounts and then to another part of my bike and this applied tension and kept them centered enough and not hit the spokes.I will work on a more permanent solution but it will likely be fixed by a similar solution. Bungee or cord.If you have screw mounts on your forks there should be little issues with this product. It’s really not the product that is the problem it’s my forks. However, it’s something to be aware of before you purchase.

These are super sturdy but don't hold much. Each bag is only 2 litres.

Ended up not using them but found it was a very well made product. Budget minded will enjoy the cost savings as well as the utility.

The kit comes with cage, waterproof bag and nylon straps. The cages mounted easily to the fork-mounts on my Salsa. The waterproof bag is 2L at best and the cage is formed to accommodate the narrow bag. I tried several packing iterations, but unfortunately the included drybag was too narrow to be of any use. Ultimately I returned the Gorix and went with the Topeak VersaCage. Pictures are the waterproof bag next to a 3.75L jug and a 5L drybag.

I'd been looking for a set of front fork drybags and didn't want to pay a fortune. This set is very durable and waterproof. I base this on the fact that I did a 65 mile 2 night bike trip in WV. It only rained moderately for 8-10 miles but my clothing I sleep in, long johns, glove, beanie stayed dry. The other held my down jacket, spare beanie, and headlamp which also stayed dry. I realize I wasn't in an all day pouring rain but I believe they'd of worked fine. Also they were exposed to light snow and temos in the low 20's which didn't affect performance of the bags nor plastic cradles. They were a slight pain getting the 1st screw inserted but once 1 is installed there's no issue. 1 thing to note...if you transport your bike on a tray type rack with front racheting arm you'll need to remove the cradle on the arm side.I was happy with the purchase and paid less than some of the name brands

I got two of these because I wasn't sure I really wanted fork bags, and these were much much cheaper than the big name versions. After two bikepacking trips, the brackets and bags have been perfect. No signs of wear.

I was concerned this would be a low quality cage and bag because the price of the set is about what just a comparable cage would be. Both the cage and bag are very sturdy and well built. The cages fit perfectly on my front fork and the dry bags are surprisingly well made. I was concerned a plastic cage might break but I’ve bashed my bike into tree branches, and tossed it into the back of a pickup truck and the cages are still in one piece. If you want a high quality cage and bag for bikepacking at a fair price, look no further.
