I saw this product at a boat show event in Florida and thought it was going to work. Unfortunately the amount of water spots left behind meant that I had to wipe the whole boat by hand down to buff out. More work than it should have been.

It took a while for the weather to get nice enough so I could get out and try this product out. It did an impressive job on some badly oxidized fiberglass though, I only tried a smaller 3 x 3 area for now, but to my surprise it pretty easily brought a lot of the shine back out. That is with a power buffer - it would be a very labor intensive process trying to achieve this by hand. Fiberglass oxidation is hard to remove, and while this product doesn't bring it back to brand new state, it does do a pretty good job - and not many products actually can deliver on that claim. Glad I got it, anxious to see how the entire RV looks once I have a chance to do the whole thing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! The hood of my car was totally flat. Not a bead in sight! I washed the hood with a 8.6PH soap and rinsed well. It says for Marine use, but also has listed that it sticks to topcoat Spray'd this on while hood was still wet. Then switched the nozzle to spray the ceramic from the bottle and then switched back to rinse everything. I was simply in AWE when I saw the difference. It was flatter than flat before. Afterward, it was sheeting as if there was a ceramic coating applied and the surface was soooo slick. Only drawback I see is that it seems to go through the product kind of quickly, however, maybe I just wasn't moving the spray around fast enough. It says approx. 3 mo. longevity for marine use. I'll see how long it lasts on my cars hood under regular daily driving and being parked outside. I really couldn't believe it and will be telling all my boat friends about it!! And for a boat, I'd make sure to have 2 boxes on hand, just in case you run out part way through. So Impressed!!

I’ve tried several products from gtechniq, and my basic impression is that the person who creates their products must be a brilliant chemist. The metal polish is the best I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried many. I don’t have any experience with ceramic sealants, though, so I didn’t know what to expect from this. I thought I was going to use it on our boat. But our pontoon boat doesn’t have that many shiny surfaces (if you don’t count the toons, and I can never get them perfect enough to put sealant on them)— so I tried it on my husbands suv. I got the look and finish of a nice wax job without the work. He’s happy, I’m happy, and I’ll do it every six months or so after I do a *really* thorough wash job.

I applied this in two different places on the boat applying to gelcoat mind you and there was very little difference. I mean very little difference.DISSAPOINTED
