Great pants. I didn't know what 100% polyester denim was going to look like, but the answer is "denim". It is softer than cotton denim and has a little more stretch. I really like the snap on the bottom of these pants that narrows the legs so that they don't drag though puddles and keep me from walking on the backs of them. The fit is just right according to the chart and they are well sewn but the elastic waistband is very weak and doesn't hold up anything, so I need a belt to keep them up. I like the room in the legs which allows me to squat without material binding my knees or pulling the back of my pants down.
