How to find the right mower blade?
For the correct mower blade, check your manual and the manufacturer's website "parts" section with the mower's model number.
Blade sizes usually match the mower deck.
Mulching Blades
- Excel in cutting tall grass and weeds.
- Good choice to handle dense mowing conditions
- Not perform well in excessively wet conditions
Low-Lift Blades
- Primarily used for side discharge only
- Performs well in sandy conditions
- Produce the lowest amount of dust and noise
Medium-Lift Blades
- Best choice to be used as an all-in-one solution
- Bag, mulch, discharge
- Very close in lift profile to the original blade that came with the mower
High-Lift Blades
- Bagging or dispersing grass clippings at a distance
- Effective in thick grass, but requires higher horsepower
- Not suitable for loose or sandy soil

Got these for a John Deere E120 mower.Sharpened the existing blades, but that didn't really help.Got these, which don't appear to be that sharp. They did great!These are definitely mulching blades. The E120 does a great job of throwing the grass. These help push it into the collector when the bag is used.Very sturdy, and thicker than previous blades.Great value!

I got these for my (basic) John Deere D100 riding mower from Home Depot and I'm VERY impressed!Like to the point that I had used the mower to cut down weeds that were over 5 feet high and it didn't leave big clumps of clippings. (Yes, I did take it a bit slow, but part of that was to prevent the mower from bogging down.)Very Happy I made this purchase!

I bought these for my JD tractor and I was skeptical about how well they'd work but they are a game changer. Absolutely no clippings left behind and they cut more evenly.

Bought these for my D100. Just did my first mow and they were incredible. Lot of rain here recently and tall grass but these blades left 0 clumps. They are a perfect fit and seem like very high quality. I am very happy with these blades.

I have mowed my grass twice since getting the blades. Everything looks nice and even after the cut. My only concern is that the blades are not very sharp. I will pull them after the heavy growing season and put a better edge on them.

They seem to create a vortex under the deck, this seems to suck up all the pine needles 75% better than regular blades. Highly recommend.
