Edit: I loved this at first. Flimsy. Came apart. Disappointed.I use this thimble for hand piecing quilts and other hand sewing tasks. I bought my thimble at a different site and I paid a lot less than this. But I wanted to review because I really like this thimble. At first look it does have a kind of clunky appearance, but the larger one fits my arthritic middle finger perfectly, it doesn’t come off, it doesn’t make my finger sweat, it protects the part of my finger it needs to and the needle fits in the little dimples.As far as size, I usually use a large or medium of thimbles that are marked as such, depending on the day. I would say the large and medium compare to large and medium of other open finger thimbles.
