Firstly, this is a well-constructed item and was a LOT of fun at my last family event. It's ridiculously easy to charge and use and gave us all some interesting information about a part of our anatomy that tends to decline pretty rapidly with age. I like the product but I'm rating this 4 out of 5 stars because it seems to be missing some features. The first of which is a way to reset the device. Mine showed the real-time squeeze strength and then the MAX reading for that squeezing session until the unit powered itself off after 60 seconds (a nice feature). There is no ON/OFF, or RESET button however, so if you wanted to quickly pass this from one person to the next to see what each was capable of you'd have to wait 60 seconds between each person. I would have appreciated those few extra buttons to make the unit more user-friendly in a group setting. A quality piece of gear nonetheless, and still tons of fun.

It's hard to determine how accurate this machine is. There was times where I used my fingertips to be able to grip 142lbs, while other times I'm gripping it like a ball and it registers only 90lbs. This machine only keeps the strongest you have on records, other than that it's sort of a fun gimmick to see how high you can go.

This hand grip strength tester is a great tool for tracking progress in grip and forearm strength. It’s easy to use, and the digital display is clear and accurate. I like that it’s rechargeable, so I don’t have to worry about buying batteries. It feels solid in the hand and can handle high resistance up to 395 lbs, which makes it useful for athletes or rehab purposes. The added stress ball and finger exercisers are a nice bonus. Great for use at home, at the gym, or even in physical therapy sessions.

This is a hand grip tester. Just squeeze and it will tell you your grip strength in lbs or kgs. It also keeps a count of each squeeze and tells you the max of each session. Might make for a fun party game. The only issue I had was it has no buttons so the way you turn it on is to squeeze it. For some reason it came completely uncharged so it wasn't clear that it wasn't turning on because it was broken or if it had no battery. Once I plugged it in with the included USB-C cable it lit up and started working.

The device does show the grip strength and appears quite sensitive and responds to the slightest change in pressure. It does show the max grip strength achieved during the exercise after you let go, but does not let you change from pound to kg as mentioned in the manual. Nor does it show, as mentioned in the manual, the cumulative count of the number of times you applied pressure even during the session. There is a battery indicator but it does not appear to indicate the charge state. Not clear what its function is.It’s possible that I received a defective device, but cannot recommend it given the discrepancies between the manual and the device features.

I found this grip strength tester to have a comfortable grip. I like that it has a charging cable versus using batteries, another unit I have uses an odd size expensive battery that I need to replace often. I thought this was at a good price point. I do notice at times that when changing hands there is a residual 14 lb reading on the display and it appears to add this value to the subsequent grip reading. For example after testing my right hand and releasing my grip the 14 lb shows with no contact on the tester. Picking up with my left and gripping the unit the reading will usually be 14 lbs higher than if I started with my left hand. Not a huge deal or problem, but worth noting and I felt compelled to reduce by one star on the rating.

This hand strength tester and hand strengthener worked well in my testing.I was gathered with friends and family and we each took a turn to see who had the strongest grip and surprisingly many of us had one hand stronger than the other where we thought they would be equal.Charging the unit is easy with the included USB-C cable. There are no buttons on the unit that I found so there isn't really anything to do except squeeze the machine to see how strong your grip is.It does have a memory function where it shows you the previous squeezes which is pretty cool so you have a running tally. I'm not sure what the maximum number is that it holds, but we liked that we could see each other's scores. It's fun for yourself to test your hand strength and get stronger as well as sharing on a guys night out for some fun challenges. It's also reasonably priced around $11 with the included coupon.I like it.
