This handle extender is a game-changer for anyone tired of bending down to pull short-handled luggage. The extra 10 inches of extension make it much easier to walk upright while pulling a suitcase. I will start of by saying I love TravelPro bags, and your results may vary with a different luggage brand. It is important to review the Photos. First the screws are too short. If you look at the handle from my bag it bows out in front, this makes it very difficult to get the two side together to fit the screws through. It took tremendous effort, and it is caused by the bow in the handle that separates the two sides from joining. The screw driver, not unexpected, is not well made and the handle snapped in a second. Then the final blow was after all the effort to get this on, I had no way to lower the handle because the button was covered with the screws tightened and I could not get my fingers in far enough to hit the release latch. I think had to remove the extender to access the handle release. For the moment I will try and use it with just the velcro attached and see what happens. The material itself looks well made and it is very stiff so I am hoping that it will works sans screws. TravelPro bags are very popular so this seems like a design concept that should have been more thought out. As I said your bag may be different and it might work. One last thing I would want the extended part to fold down for putting in the overhead bin. Once the screws are tight this is very difficult.

I'm actually using this for my fold up wagon as I often have items extending over the edge and I needed a longer handle.This really works well in providing extra handle length.The cons, however, are that 1) the screws are too short and the screw head is so small that finding a small phillips screwdriver that worked was difficult (the screwdriver provided is small, and does not give you enough grip surface to work well). 2) if the holes for the screws were just a bit higher it would be easy to attach them, and it would provide space to depress the handle button.Overall, it's a back saver and really well made, I just think that the design is not quite perfect.The item could be used with just the velcro closure as well.

Tested this while moving heavy industrial totes on wheels and it worked like a charm. Also helpful with suitcase handles or anything that rolls but falls short of your comfort level. Definitely holds a good amount of weight and is well made.Giving 4 stars only because I would like to be able to apply the handle without using a mini screwdriver (included). Though the rivets are sturdy, snaps would make it much easier to transfer the handle from one object to another. This can be used without the rivets in place (such as I did) just keep in mind that will diminish the carrying capacity.One could leave the rivets out and remove the handle before passing off luggage to handlers just to prevent loss. The Velcro closure is strong but the handle is easy to remove if rivets are not in tact.

Works well enough, though I question the used of screwed in studs where maybe more hook& loop could've done the trick
