I wanted to love this hard-sided 20" carryon. And there's a lot to love, starting with the very strong aluminum flex up handle, same quality as on the Victorinox and Tumi's I've been using for the past 30 years. The interior is cloth lined and no attempt at padding, so whatever you put in the handle side will get a handle imprint on it if it's something that wrinkles, like a suit. But a flexy plastic lined plate is included for just such a case, I suppose. There's plenty of room on both sides of the case, which are separated by a mesh bag divider. Unfortunately they are held together by just a zipper, meaning the case sort of wabbles when you're running it on 4 wheels. (The wheels are smaller and a little more cushiony than the go-anywhere, never-die Victorinox wheels I'm used to; I suspect they'll be the wear-out failure point.)I am not in love with the exterior shell; it's plastic and doesn't feel all that strong. It's thin enough to be a little flexy. I guess I just prefer a hard side to be a real hard side, ideally metal, and although these are light they don't measure up. The TSA lock is worse than useless; I'd eschew using it, it seems far more likely to lock you out of your own luggage than to deter a thief. The color is a little more muted than it appears on picture - Kermit green, not forest or kelly. That's not a criticism; it's an attractive bag and would stand out on any carousel.I really liked the flip out holders - for a purse or book bag - baked into the handle. The pop out cupholder was something else again; it's sort of fun - my kid ended up playing with it - but I don't know that I'd trust it with my Starbucks, although I guess if I were sitting down and a bunch of kids were playing nearby it'd be better than leaving it out on one of those tiny airport side tables. It's too low for me to want to reach down while I was standing.I should be perfectly fair. I don't buy one of these very often - every 15 years or so, my current one is 20 years old - and looking now, I see the comparable item from Victorinox is literally 4 times as expensive as this case. If you aren't racking up 100,000 frequent flyer miles a year, and just need to go on a trip without embarrassing yourself, I'd absolutely recommend this case - not just because of the pricepoint; it's priced right but it's also a solid, well thought out piece of gear. But if what you want is that 20 year case, I just don't think this is the one.

I ordered the black color and find it to be a little shinier than I would like. I tend to lean more toward matte colors. The sides are more flexible than I was expecting. I would still classify it as hard-sided, but there is flex to the material. The wheels roll in all directions very smoothly. The telescoping handle is a little stiff to pull up and out, but similar to other carry-ons I have had in the past. The cup holder and phone stand are neat, extra accessories to have. I think they will be durable through travel as they are designed to store inset into the bag and shouldn't catch on anything. The zippers open and close smoothly, and there are quite a few pockets for organization on the inside. It's great to have the option to add a power bank inside the bag for charging phones and other electronics, especially as using USB hubs in airports becomes less secure. Overall, the bag is well designed and should hold up to a lot of travel. The cost is a bit high, but it does include some neat extras that you don't find on other bags.

I don't fly commercially much, but having the right size carry on is important when you do. If you are lucky enough to have overhead space available when you board it will still fit above. Not sure it will work for most people to put under the seat. If you are 5 foot nothing then maybe, but normal height people would have their knees in their face trying to put this on the floor. In these days of shrinking seat 'space' on aircraft, I wouldn't count on having it on the floor. The case rolls like it is floating with the full castoring wheels with 4 on the floor. The retractable handle is very ergonomic with the hooks for gear or your phone. The cup holder is also a nice touch when you have your hands full. The usb jacks allow to to keep your power bank in the case and still charge your phone at the terminal. The power bank goes in the zippered compartment next to the outside on the lock half. The top and bottom and most of the sides are rigid. The center seam (zipper area) is about an inch wide (when not expanded) so there is some bellowing when subjected to force from the top or sides. The center can also be expanded with another zipper, but you may get flagged by the airline for oversize. The built in TSA combo lock is handy for detering snoops, but won't stop a determined thief. Overall, the case is attractive and very functional. I will have no hesitation is taking it on the next trip. The price is a little on the high side, but that is always a personal choice.

I absolutely love this suitcase—it’s everything my old carry-on wasn’t and then some. Stylish, compact, and full of thoughtful upgrades, this hard shell carry-on is clearly designed with frequent flyers in mind.✔ Cup holder + dual hooks to hang items like your bag, pillow, or even your phone—super handy during layovers✔ Built-in USB & Type-C charging ports (just add your own power bank)✔ TSA-approved lock that’s easy to use (Once I realized you have to slide the tab right, after entering your combo 😉)✔ Lightweight but sturdy, with a tough polycarbonate shell and reinforced zippers✔ Expandable storage gives a surprising amount of extra room for longer trips✔ 360° silent spinner wheels = smoothest glide I’ve ever experienced—no dragging, twisting, or wrestling➞ Small notes: The phone holder doesn’t fit my smartphone, but I can lay it flat near the USB port, so not a dealbreaker.TLDR: This is an upgrade in every way—looks sharp, glides effortlessly, and adds modern-day essentials like charging ports and cup holders. If travel can be stressful, this luggage makes at least one part of it feel effortless.
