Firm Joint Calipers
- Firm joint caliper use friction joint to hold the legs not move, adjust a caliper to a scale dimension, one leg of the caliper should be held firmly against one end of the scale and the other leg adjusted to the desired dimension. Inside calipers are used to measure the inner diameter or groove width of the cylindrical hole.
- Outside calipers measure the external size, thicknesses and outside diameters of objects.

Wow, dont buy these. Out of all of my online purchases, this is the lowest quality item I've ever received. Looks like an 8th graders shop-class project.

It works very well to check the size of the inside shoulder of a metal coupler. Holds the size so that it can be measured.

Nice size to this caliper but fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing that can’t be taken care of with some time on a buffer, but should you really need to?
