Our cats love this. They even go out of their way to keep it clean which is weird. They laze on it all day just sleeping. Very good purchase! Also the cord cover gives a great peace of mind.

What a mix of pro's and con's:Pro's: This heating pad has much going for it.-- The cover is indeed luxurious and soft - seriously! (One reviewer said "like a bunny!". -- so true; I was thinking "mink!")-- If the cover is durable enough to sustain washing - as described, what a nice feature! ( I cannot comment on the veracity of that claim.)-- There is a wonderful memory-foam-type padding that seems it would be really great, especially for an older pet experiencing joint issues - but what pet wouldn't just love the cushy-ness, no matter their age or condition!?-- The bottom has slip-proof fabric to help the pad stay in place.-- Materials and construction seem high quality.-- A nice zippered extra bag is included; I'm guessing that it's intended for waterproofing and likely could go inside the [washable, plush] outer cover, protecting the foam and pads, - or outside the entire pad assembly. (Although sharp claws might undo its usefulness, inside or outside the outer cover. Untested by me.)-- The cord is very nice quality, and is embedded in a well-made plastic sleeve that should guard well against any pets who might wish to chew the cord. The cord is attached extremely well and is not likely to be pulled out or off the pad.-- Good size. I imagine even a fairly large "medium" sized dog could find this pad comfy. A mama cat with a small litter of kittens could be blissful!-- If the cover holds up to washing, as described, what a nice feature! (I cannot comment on the veracity of this claim.)Con's: (only a few, but some are deal-breakers for me; YMMV)-- There are no controls on the cord! It's either on (plugged in) or off (not plugged in). There is no way to control the temperature, nor the timing. (The description claims it can be adjusted, but this is false advertising.)-- I have no idea of whether it is always-on or auto-off (and then, auto-off at what point?).-- No description of its features. (A paper insert does offer assembly instructions, but nothing about the heating aspects.)-- Amazon description says "cotton." I fail to see what is cotton. The furry cover is synthetic, clearly. The other elements are some version of plastics (heating pad, water-proof bag, expanding foam padding).Neutral (for me;YMMV):You must assemble this bed. The memory-foam pad comes tightly rolled (and I am guessing will be a bit fiddly to manipulate, at least at first. Once expanded, it should be fine -- and super cushy)!Why it's not right for me (but could be right for you):I foster orphaned kittens - who frequently must have a continuous flow of heat and I need to have control of setting the temperature and timing. (I prefer an Always-On feature, and then I monitor and adjust the temperature, as needed. This way, I never discover that I've missed the timing for shut-off and the poor kitties have been without the needed heat for who knows how long?! This is especially true for instances with only one or two orphaned kittens, who cannot snuggle together and share body heat sufficiently in the interim.)I did not test the heat factors (how warm? auto-off/alwasy-on?), as I can find another that offers me control of the temp/time at a lower price (albeit possibly not with some of these nice features mentioned in my pro's). For me: It's going back into the box and being returned, unused.Bottom line: I do think the price is a good one for all the nice lux features -- if you don't need temperature/heat control features and are OK with some of the claims not being true. Hope this info. helps you decide.

Fantastic product. As advertised. Very well made.Perfect temp for cat and doesn’t over-heat.Great cushioning and well protected cord.Only knock, same as with all Chinese products: Assembly instructions absolutely blow. You’re best to toss them aside and just experiment on your own.

My cat stays on it all day! I specifically got this one because of the padding. It had egg crate style foam with a super soft cover. Top feels so soft like a bunny. The cord is very well coated. The only thing I don’t understand is the site says thermostat is adjustable and shuts off and on. Yet it doesn’t have a thermostat control and when the cat is off the pad it feels warm all the time. Because of this, I’m nervous to leave it on all night. Other than that, I’m happy with it & our cat loves it!!!

We put this heated cats bed in a box and they all love sleeping in it.

This heating pad is awesome, my cat don't want to leave this mat. It's worth every penny.
