Definitely wouldn’t recommend. We have only used this tow bar a couple times , haven’t even had it for a year yet, and it completely broke at the weld as we were towing, there is no fixing it what so ever. They was nice enough to send me a replacement so hopefully this one will be better.

For the price, this is a great deal. The welds on mine weren’t too bad. The alignment of the flanges went a bit pigeon toed when I tightened them up, but I was able to compensate by leaving all the bolts a bit loose and then getting the alignment dialed in first then tightening afterwards.

The product was able to be installed fairly easily by my husband and does the job. The only negative I can say is it looks like an amateur welded the project together and distracts from the appearance.

Produce is as described. Welds aren’t pretty but they should hold up just fine.As pictured I had to mount an aluminum flange to the bottom of the bar in order to make it fit on my pontoon.Haven’t tested it out yet. Confident that it will be just fine.

Added 2x3 aluminum square tubing bolted to under side of the pontoon with lag bolts. Pulled 2 adults over 400 lbs total and it didn’t move at all. Overall very pleased.

I should of listened to the bad reviews. The welds were horrible and uneven. The parts did not match up and the product was scratched.

Sloppy welding, it is not buffed at all, and not square (off by over half inch). Not worth the expense. Will only be using because of time restraints but will be scared to use for tube pulling.
