Buckle pins broke off after less than a year making the halter useless. Bummer because the leather is good quality.

My horse has a cob sized head and this fits him well. I gave it a four because we haven’t had it long so I don’t know about it’s sturdiness. It’s kind of stiff but I haven’t oiled it yet. I sometimes get softer leather.

We have had this halter for 4 months and it is breaking already. The horse is not turned out with a halter on so he literally wears it less than 10 minutes a day. Very unhappy with the quality of the halter.

This is a truly exquisite halter. We have a very refined Hanoverian gelding and it fit him like a charm. I highly recommend this quality halter.
