I have discovered diffusers and diffuser oil. I am learning what scents I enjoy the most and how I prefer the scent to be diffused.The Hinoki scent has become one of my all-time favorites. It smells a bit like a high-end masculine aftershave or fragrance. It's described as having "the tranquility of a lush cypress forest....This scent brings together the fresh aromas of soil and tangled grass from Mount Tanzawa, Japan, promoting a sense of calm and comfort." Don't know about all that, but it does make me feel calm and peaceful. The scent puts me in a good mood.I have used the product in a diffuser and by putting a reed stick in one of the bottle. The scent is much stronger while using the diffuser. However, if you use the bottle and reed in a small space, such as a small powder room or bathroom, it also works quite well.I received two 6.7 ounce plastic bottles and 8 reed sticks. The bottles are attractive and appear to be glass (but are definitely plastic). The quantity I received will last a long time, so the price, less than $25 for two bottles and 8 reeds, seems fair.The only problem I had, and it's probably a 'me' thing was getting the stopper out so I could put a reed in the bottle or pour the liquid into a diffuser. Not sure what the trick is, but it did annoy me.

Just got this Hetras Flower Gardener diffuser set and wow - it's exactly what I was hoping for! The second I walk into my room now, I get hit with this amazing floral scent. It literally smells like I have a bouquet of fresh flowers in there.The fragrance is definitely strong enough to fill my whole bedroom, which is what I wanted. Some diffusers are so subtle you can barely smell them, but this one has real presence without being too much.I really like how classy it looks too - doesn't scream "air freshener" if you know what I mean. Fits right in with my other décor. They even threw in two cute little cards which was a nice surprise!Since I literally just set these up, I can't tell you how long the scent will last yet, but I'll definitely come back and update this review in a few weeks to let everyone know how it holds up.Actually, I'm probably going to end up buying more of these just to have on hand for presents. Who doesn't want their place to smell amazing?Setup was super easy - just stick the reeds in and you're good to go.Update coming soon on longevity...

This is for both the "Department Store 1F" and the "Cactus" scents.I saw the other negative review and almost let that deter me. Since there were no written words to state what exactly the problem was and you get 2 for $14, I decided to try my luck and order anyway. I'm SO glad I did! I had a good laugh when the first reed diffuser package arrived because "department store 1F" is printed on the outside of the box. I was confused as to wth this box could contain until I remembered that was the name of the scent. It's actually a VERY clever name too because although I don't remember what department stores smelled like, I could definitely picture one with this scent. It's very pleasant and easy on the nose. Kind of like a unisex fragrance. I really like it. Now cactus... this one immediately took my high school days when Gap Grass was one of my signature scents. If you like green scents like leaves and grass clippings, you will LOVE the cactus scent! I wish I could wear it as a perfume lol.This set only comes with 4 reeds in each pack opposed to the 6 that came with my other 2 reed diffuser sets from different brands. I thought that might take away from the strength of the fragrance but nope. These reeds are VERY absorbent. I took a pic just to show juicy they are lol. I did the standard protocol of letting them sit in the bottle for 1 hour and then flipping them over and it wasn't long after that all the reeds were saturated with oil. Impressive!Onto the bottles... The bottles are plastic which I have no problem at all with because they still LOOK really nice like actual amber glass. Also, the price would have to double if these were glass bottles. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the plastic plug seal. Removing it was not the issue. I slid a box cutter in the slit, turned the bottle in a circle, and the seal came right off. The problem is that once that seal is off the bottle is no longer spill proof because the top, for some reason, has a hole in it. Even when I placed the seal back in its original place and screwed the top down as far as it could go, the oil still leaked when flipped upside down. So I just need to store the bottle in a place where it won't get knocked over. Other than that though, I love this set and was pleasantly surprised! This looks to be a Korean brand by the lettering on the box.
