too short felt like it was literally choking me. I returned it for the longer chain, and that was tooooo long! I question the legitimacy of these necklace lengths.

The necklace broke and fell off almost immediately. Extremely low quality. The loops that attach the clasp are dollar store quality. You absolutely can not workout or swim or sleep in this because those loops are so soft. Any amount of rolling around at night will be more than enough to break what should be a reenforced part. I’m really disappointed. I’m absolutely shocked that a chain marketed specifically for hard use and active wear is so cheaply made.

This is my third Hey Harper piece and my first necklace. I got the rings and an anklet as well in the past, but was looking forward to having a necklace I could wear 24/7 without having to fuss about in the shower or swimming and such. For reference, my rings that are also on 24/7 for just shy of a year now are a bit less gold than they were and than I can see on the inside but still look very nice (and hands get a lot of washing and contact with lotions and such than other pieces would). The necklace looks lovely of course, with a beautiful color and I like the design with the small ball accents along the chain to break it up without being really flashy.I expect the color on my necklace will last a long time even with all the contact with water because it's not exposed to as much as my rings / hands are and even those have held up pretty well. I wear it at it's shortest length and really like where it falls, but there's a quite long extra bit of chain if I wanted to extend it. Probably another 2-3" possible for adjusting.The downside of wearing it short and having a somewhat long extra chain is that it often tickles the back of my neck or back with that long extra chain dangling around back there. I've mostly adjusted and convinced myself it's not a bug anymore, but it can catch me off guard or just annoy me if it's making me itchy. It also gives weight to the necklace so sometimes it will pull around to the front and end up having the clasp and extra chain up front. Not ideal. I assume this is when I'm bending down to pick things up, or play with my dog, etc and it slowly works around.I've worn it nonstop since I've got it so a few weeks, and love the little extra it brings to every outfit. It just makes me happy to see the little warm gold flash especially on rainy days when there's no sunshine. It's like I have a little sunshine with me! I have also had no issues with it tangling in my hair even when sleeping or running around.Overall I'm a big fan of the brand and glad I found it. Happy to have a necklace to add to my collection! It seems to be just as high quality as the other pieces I have tried.

In short: it’s pretty. Buy it. TBD on longevity. Very lightweight, very shiny.TLDR: I can’t stand buying things with a bunch of incentivized reviews bc it’s easier to rate something 5 stars when it was free, so I had this on my wish list for a while. After the 500th time I saw ads for it on Instagram lol, I finally bought it but wasn’t sure what to expect. I found the rest of the reviews really confusing bc a lot of them said “I wish it was longer because I want to wear it on the shortest length?!” (Huh?!) & in the photos the Nassau seemed really short. I have kind of a big head & it tends to be exacerbated by really short necklaces…anyway, when I got it, I found the length to be perfect for what I wanted. It’s pretty and shiny. I think the price is high but will be worth it if it’s as durable as claimed.

Review update: I’ve been hit with many targeted ads from this brand and finally decided to give it a try with this cute set. I ordered two sets of this necklace, both which arrived broken. The Hey Harper team followed up with me and sent replacement necklaces, which arrived in much better condition. I felt their customer service was excellent for a growing brand.What keeps this from a 5 star review is still value. Necklaces of this cost I expect to not cut any corners. While the necklace is pretty, they use the spring ring clasp rather than a lobster clasp. This minor detail suggests to me they are cutting some corners in quality.

These are two really nice necklaces. They’re designed nicely, and packaged pretty well. The box is just a simple neon rainbow cardboard box, while each necklace comes in a velvet bag within. I would say if you’re going to give this as a gift, I would look into getting a better box (as this is a pretty pricey set, and the box looks pretty cheap). Each necklace itself is really nicely polished, and has an adjustable chain attached to it. There is a small difference in length, with the twisted rope-like one being a tad longer. If you’re going to wear both at the same time, there is some parts where they stick to the skin.The main issue I have with them is that they’re more of a choker style of necklace, rather than a regular necklace. To me, it didn’t look like this in the photos, and I was pretty taken back at how short they actually are when I was wearing them. They’re really short for me, and I don’t think I like wearing them.Overall the finish of these necklaces is nice, and I’ve included some close up shots of them. The necklaces feel sweat proof, and water proof, though I don’t really know if they’ll rust or anything (maybe over time or something).I think each necklace can be used separately and still be nice. For me, these will probably see little to no use though, as they’re just too short. I just don’t like wearing them. For $140, I can say that they’re made pretty well, but it does depend on how big you want your necklaces to be.
