This was a great addition to the spread. However it is a fragile item. After a successful hunt with this decoy I attempted to pack up amd tossed the deploys into the shallows near the boat. When I did this this the pump out flow tube snapped off. I was able to re-secure this with epoxy. And keep using itI noticed the now models have an eyelet attached to the body that this plastic tube runs through to support it. I presume this is why.

When the water is calm, and you need realistic motion for your decoy spread this is the ticket. Easy to operate and battery lasts from shooting time to end of hunt.

They do liven up the decoy spread on calm days. Work better than the vibrating decoys. Seem to be holding up well also

I have several pulsators and swimmers and I have never had an issue. I use mainly Canada goose decoys and divers with a handful of dabblers. They truly do get birds to commit, and they typically dial in on the pulsators. They are quite noisy but they sound like cupped up incoming birds, so you’ll have that to deal with until you realize it’s the decoys.

My husband loves this decoy it was a bit on the pricey side but he says that hunting with this decoy has made it so much better and so much more worth going!!

First year for my husband to use this device and it is holding up nicely and appears to work as designed even though this area's waterfowl population is less than previous years. He liked the first one so much that I ended up ordering another one for his waterfowl arsenal. There is still some hunting days left and if I gather any other information I will update the review.

Just purchased the pulsator decoy due to high reviews. Seemed like a great product. Upon receiving the product, numerous issues straight out the box. First off, paint had been worn in places due to being in the box, not a huge issue as it will be getting used in the field and i expect some of that to occur with time. Second, multiple screws that hold the pump bracket onto the decoy body were all striped. Two of the four holding it would not even tight a little to secure it. Yes, I figured maybe I could fix the issue with longer screws myself but why, this isn't my product and why sink more money into poor manufacturing that Higdon is using. Also why not put longer stainless screws in to hold this, due to it continuous motion? Third, the cheap dry wall screws holding some horrible foam pieces on. What the heck is up with these? Does Higdon think this was a great idea being in water its entire usage. Where's the Stainless??? I'm sorry but not every hunts freshwater. Also, these same foam pieces were suppose to be glued as well it seems, but the glue wasn't even secured to two of the pieces they had. These pieces I'm sure serve a purpose in holding the decoy when it pumps, but why not build this into the mold of the decoy itself, just seems a cheap way to fix something. But guess that's what Higdon gets for using Chinese manufactures. These pieces aren't even pictured in the product pictures when you look at it. I didn't get to use the product so i can't describe its performance, but for pulling something supposedly new out the box, I'm highly disappointed in the product manufacturing and Higdons ability to have a higher quality product for the price. I feel like i was given some sort of refurbished junk!!! Truly hope Higdon can fix these issues and use quality materials and I hope no one else has such issues. I am sorry I did not take any pictures of the product in this state, as I was highly upset when i got it, i boxed it back up immediately and sent it back. .
