This is sturdy plastic but can break easily. Why no one makes a stainless steel hook with a vinyl sleeve is beyond me. Tips for use. 1. Keep hook out of the sun. 2. When retrieving robot pull straight UP and not at an angle to prevent breaking the hook or bending your extension pole.

This is the same hook that came with robot. The design is a bit odd for Odesey 1000. But the 1000 is a bit odd.

Not a lot to review about a pool hook: Its solid plastic, it connects to a standard pole, and it will hook stuff. I've got two Wybots and it hooks both quite successfully -- didn't even have to read the directions first. After considering for a couple hours with a beer (or two) in hand, I realized I could even hook other stuff if I needed to. Very flexible.So there you have it -- need to hook stuff? Get a hook. This is a hook. Any questions?

I already had a pool broom with the same click on attachment. I just switched them out. Very strong.
