Most of the time I don’t mind a generic version of a product. I tried them with my Hoover and have gone back to the Hoover brand bags. I don’t get the dust blow back with the Hoover originals. They are that much more expensive and definitely worth it!! Cheaper isn’t always better!!

I received the Hoover canister vac as a bonus with the full size model, and I have used the lightweight, long-corded canister more often than the full size. Besides being handier to use and to store, the canister vac beats any handheld model I've purchased. I love the variety of included attachments, and am particularly happy with not having to charge a battery. The bags compress a lot of debris and do an excellent job of collecting pet hair, so when emptying, there's little spillage outside the bag. Considering the bags pick up a good amount before requiring changing, they're a smart buy.

These are OEM parts for my hoover canister vac, which came with my hoover upright vac. My only complaint is they send you 8 in four boxes (2/box), when they could easily revise the packaging to hold more.

As usual, my vacuum bags came in on time and as expected. This is a great vacuum and ordering from Amazon is fast and easy for the accessory items like these bags. The bags are not easy to find on the island (Hawaii). I have purchased 3 of these vacuums and have had no problems.

***EDIT/UPDATE***The seller (B&M Housewares) indicated that there was a mix-up and promptly shipped me a whole replacement set of genuine Hoover bags (in original boxes)shortly after I notified them that I had an issue with the product.I now have the product that I originally ordered and B&M Housewares was excellent to resolve the issue so quickly.Accordingly, I have also updated the seller rating to four stars.***ORIGINAL***The product is not genuine and not as pictured. See the images that I've uploaded....I'm disappointed in the poor quality of the bags.These are perhaps 1/3 the thickness/weight of genuine bags and are made of a coarser fabric.There is no way that these are HEPA rated and they are definitely not worth the price listed here.
