My powder measure came from the factory withe rifle rotor. Not real accurate for perfect measurement for pistol loads. With the pistol rotor. It measures real accurate to the tenth of a grain. So if your loading pistol cartridges. You need this.

This meter works great and is much more precise than the one the press came with. I can't believe I waited so long before I upgraded! If you load a lot of pistol rounds, GET this!

As it is a Hornady product you know it works just as it’s supposed to. Delivery was next day all good if you need a pistol rotor for your powder thrower get it!!

Works great for pistol loads. I do not think this should of been an optional part and should of been included with the Hornady Reload Kit. I dropped 50 loads of Bullseye (always gave me problems in the past) and they were spot on. I can not get over the difference.

I load 9mm for both pistol and carbine which have different charges. Instead of having to buy a whole different powder funnel for each one, I just ordered an extra one of these and just swap out the metering piston in the powder funnel. Put a small canister underneath the powder funnel to catch the powder, lift up the powder drop, and hold it open with an empty shell case. I found that a 7.62 x 39 case works perfectly for the case-operated Hornady powder funnel on my LNL AP press. Push the retaining button on the rotor and swap out the pistons and you are instantly setup with a different charge.I just keep the extra rotor as a spare.

This powder measure works good and is very accurate but it was hard to set up. Here is my experience:I came very oily and needed lots of cleaning.The plastic reservior was not attached and had to be forced into the body. This was difficult to do and it did not fit very well. It is sort of stuck / jammed halfway in - but works okay.The instructions (stretching the word here!) for assembly and use are pretty much worthless. I don't see how a company as big and sophisticated as Hornady could send out something with such bad instructions.I have two other (different brand) powder measures. This one has MUCH more static electricity.The removable metering assembly is great!So if I have all of these complaints why did I give it 4 stars? Because it works! I have another brand pistol powder measure and this one measures the same powder with much better accuracy - That's why all the hassel is worth it and it gets 4 stars!
