Beware that there is a lot of assembly required when you order this. The assembly is not overly difficult, but there are a lot of pieces. Once of the plastic gromets was broken right out of the box, and when assembling the hose wheel, I had to bend the metal back to shape in order to get it together. Once you have it built, it is a decent hose cart. However, it is very top heavy if you put long/thick hoses on the wheel. Because of this, you are probably going to want to make sure it rests against a wall or fence when not in use. Overall, it does what it is designed to do, and it doesn't leak.

First and foremost if you hate putting things together, you may be better off purchasing a more expensive product. Its not complicated but did require looking at the directions for assembly. My thoughts were to have a smaller hose reel that I didn’t need to crouch down to reel. This worked very well for my 50ft hose which I use 20ft or so. It’s tall and narrow which doesn’t allow for long pulls without falling over. The crank is on the shorter side but not difficult with shorter hoses.Overall quality was just as good as more expensive brands. Hose connections don’t leak which sometimes is a problem with cheaper brands. In all honesty if you’re looking for a smaller hose reel and saving a few dollars this product is a great option.

Of course this thing is top-heavy. You can look at it and know it'll be. That's why the stabilizers are there. Thing is, the stabilizers are cut so that only the edge of the tube will ever be in contact with the ground. NBD, except this means that if you bump them when moving it around (when you stop or start or whatever) the edge of the plastic cap that came in it will peel right out. So that's something to keep an eye on. Also, the wheels are TINY and not really sturdy, so I would not recommend pulling this reel across anything other than a paved surface. This is how I intend to use it for the rest of its days, and I expect it to last a good, long while.

I grabbed this unit as I was just thinking I'd like a semi portable garden hose reel and utensil cart.It was easy to put together, it's solidly built, it looks good, and I'm overall very happy with it so far.I have yet to get a hose attached, I'm not sure how the in-built connections will work, but I can say that they provided several extra hose connector seals, and even the hose piece and connectors felt like they were made of good quality metal.I do questíon the water tight nature of the inlet as it's not easy to tighten due to the design, but I haven't actually tested it yet so I can't knock it. I know I can tighten it, but it's going to be tricky to do; Meanwhile, it's nature is to slow the feel to spin while it remains in place - hence the questioning to begin with.If I don't find it to my liking, I'll update. For now, due to the aesthetic and presumptuous quality, I rate it 5 stars, recommend it, and think it was an excellent value for the price point.

This is a really nice hose reel that is easily moved around. The directions were fairly easy to follow, although I didn't pay as close attention as I should have, so I had to unbolt and flip the top pieces. The connections included do a really nice job of making a connection to the spigot without any leaks.I do wish the rack was a little bit taller, it is a little low for me (6'1) to effortlessly pull it through the yard, but it's perfect for my wife, who's shorter. I also wish there was more weight on the bottom of the rack, as it does want to tip over if you pull the hose from the side. If you pull straight from the reel, it stands with no issues, but if you move and are pulling from a 45 degree angle or further, it's easy to flip the cart. All in all, it is a great value for a cart that is light & rolls well.My review process: 5*- Blew me away, features that are much better than anticipated (rare). 4*- Product is as expected, and good quality. This is a STRONG review. 3* - Product should function, but has minor flaws. (Average product) 2*- Product may work, but won't last long/cheaply made/major flaws/issues, item failure w/ some remediation from seller. 1* - Poor item/failure during use, or before, no remediation from seller.

I so desperately needed a hose reel. I was tired of wrestling to put my hose away; now that I’m getting older the constant up and down motion of wrapping the hose around the stationary hook was complete torture on my back. Any activity involving me using the hose meant the next day resting my back. This hose reel allows me to roll out the hose and put it away during the winter months. I absolutely love the design in that the reel is mounted higher so I don’t have to bend so much. The reel crank allows me to stow the hose in very little time and my back is greatful.

This is one of the lowest-cost options you'll find for this style of hose reel carts, and for a small hose it's not bad, and same for my purposes it works decently, but it is small and has some shortcomings.First, I did fit a 100' 5/8" hose on the reel, so it does fit somewhat large hoses, but it's pretty overloaded. It does require a fair amount of assembly; not overly hard but it is in several parts, and the hardware comes in a single pack all mixed together. After assembly, the wheels don't roll very smoothly, the reel is ok but could be smoother, and due to its lightweight design requires me to put my foot on the lower bars while reeling in my heavier hose. I had no leaking which is great, but due to the difficulty of reeling I wouldn't want to use this for my daily, unless maybe one were using a smaller lightweight hoses.
