Sturdy steps. Easy to assemble. Rail made getting in and out much safer for visually impaired friend. Single handle allows holding on while swinging one leg into or out of the tub

They get the job done, but, for the price, are not as sturdy as I would have liked.

I assembled this by myself in about one hour. The diagram and instructions are not very clear. Their advice is don't tighten the bolts as you put it together, and they mean it. It is quite sturdy although if your place of use is a permenant spot (like mine) you should buy some concrete pavers and use a level. Otherwise, it will be wobbly. The nice heavy steel is noticeable in the rigidity and in the overall weight, but a senior citizen can still manage to slide it around after assembly. Paint is enamel of the rust-resistant kind. The allen wrench comes with it but you may also need an adjustable wrench or pliers to hold the nuts. Tighten only after finally getting all the bolts in the right spot.

It was sent without any instructions, but assembly was fairly obvious although I had initially installed the stair landings backwards and had to partially unassemble it to correct. I did spot the videos provided on the item page and that was helpful. These stair are incredibly heavy duty and absolutely great in every way. I would highly recommend this for above ground hottubs and spas and perhaps for other functions where stairs are necessary. Even with my errors, I got it all put together in a couple of hours. Not too bad for a very old person like me. I highly recommend this product. :)
