I bought this for an iracing setup. But after I play for an hour or two, it cuts my video output.Maybe its overheating? I would think if its overheating it would automatically reduce my image quality. I have to wait for a while to restart. Also, I see the fan spins well but very little air current. Maybe fan is not suffice.Idk

This PC works really well. I play overwatch 2, warzone 2, and apex legends. I got the version with the 3080 and the ryzen 7 5800x. One thing that I didn't like was that the temps for the CPU do stay around 80-81 degrees celsius when I was gaming. I know it's fine up until 80 degrees, but when it goes higher than that, it kind of makes me nervous. It is "liquid-cooled" for the CPU with a cooler master rebranded to an omen CPU cooler. It also has a cooler master power supply which is neat. They also use hyper X ram which I am happy with. I have only had the PC for about a week but if anything changes I will edit this review. Also, I know prebuilts are more expensive than building yourself but I got this for a pretty good deal when it was on sale for new years. It also handles work load well like editing videos and other sorts of things. This next part is completely subjective and I don't know if HP actually does this but I believe once the CPU hits that peak temperature it doesn't let it work harder if that makes sense. Obviously, there is thermal throttling but it seems that HP has put a hard limiter already on the CPU so it never gets too hot. I hope this review helps.Edit: So there are some issues, it has blue screened twice and the error code is saying because of ram. I’ve been using it everyday but after a restart it doesn’t blue screen anymore. Also when you click the power button to put it into standby after it’s already on, clicking the power button again doesnt start it up. So you have to unplug and reply from the wall so that it starts. Another issue is that when I play a game and it overclocks after I am done playing and am just doing regular work the overclock I believe is still running because my CPU stays at 100% on task manager. After restarting it fixes it and my cpu goes back to the normal range of 10-15% while doing work.

Let me start this off stating i'm coming off an ASUS ROG Laptop with a 3070 gpu and AMD Ryzen 9 5900hs.The AMD Ryzen 7 5800x in this Omen is testing about 25% faster than the AMD 9 laptop variant and performs extremely fast for light office tasks and normal web browsing. You will experience some minor bottlenecking that AMD is known for but the 3080 GPU really over comes this. The 3070 laptop variant was great for 120fps in all games High/Ultra Settings in 1080p. But when running 1440p the system ran hot due to being a thin laptop. This desktop on the otherhand performs extremely cool thanks to liquid cooling! Ran between 44 and 66 degrees celcius on all games I ran.The 3080 Desktop performs 83% BETTER/FASTER than my 3070 Laptop. I was shocked to see benchmarks like this!1440p gaming in Ultra Settings is totally fine for this machine and you can expect 100fps+ on all games. Expect more for 1080p resolution.I was happy to see name brand RAM from HyperX. Mine came with 16gb running at 3200mhz. There is 4 slots for ram so you can upgrade! The power supply is 800 watts and Gold rated!! I was expecting Bronze so this was a pleasant surprise. The lighting out of the box will be stock white. You will need to update your Omen Gaming Hub out of the box to customize the lighting like i did in the pics. The case is 30 liters which is classified as a "MidTower" but thinner than my old CyberPowerPc that was 36 Liters. All in All this is a great PC for the money! Hard to find a Liquid Cooled PC with a decent chip and a 3080 under $1800. I got mine for Black Friday and was $1500. You may see these go down in the future now that AMD has released the 7000 series chips and Nividia released the 40 series graphic cards. But don't feel like this is old hardware. These specs should hold up for the next 5 years no problem!!
