Lowered my 2001 Subaru Outback. Love the new spring rate compared to stock. Progressively wound springs was a great upgrade. I also purchased Legacy spec struts for all four corners which lowered the car 3-3.5 inches.Be forewarned, you need Impreza upper spring perches for the front springs. They are cheap ($20 for both).

These springs are exactly what my wallowing old LGT sedan needed. These springs are listed as being for Legacy wagons but they also work well in the sedans, mine is a sedan. However, the front top spring perches need to be replaced with Impreza spring perches and rubber seats (P/N:20323FA000 and P/N:20325FA000, two of each). I chose to replace the struts and all of the other hardware that goes into the strut assemblies, including the spring silencers. But, I had to reuse the old Spacer at the top of the front struts between the perch and the mount. Below is the complete list of the hardware used:1x H&R 29443 Sport Spring set2x KYB Rear Struts P/N:3412751x KYB Front Left Strut P/N:3342741x KYB Front Right Strut P/N:3342732x Subaru Spring Seat Upper Front P/N:20323FA0002x Subaru Rubber Seat Upper Front P/N:20325FA0001x Tein Rubber Spring Silencer (90-130mm) P/N:SPR02-G14971x Tein Rubber Spring Silencer (130mm+) P/N:SPR02-H21872x KYB Rear Strut Mounts P/N:SM52142x KYB Rear Strut Bellows P/N:SB1032x Monroe Front Strut Mounts P/N:9029242x Moog Front Strut Bellows P/N:K90460They only get 4 stars because I had to scour the internet to make sure they would work due to the change in spring perches/seats. According to the forums H&R support will dis-acknowledge this. I read a lot of threads before putting the above list together and making this purchase. There is nothing more frustrating than taking your car apart and not having the right parts to reassemble it properly. I managed to avoid that headache.
