Similar in design to our Screw Compressor Clamps except that the compression adjustment screw has a 1" (25mm) diameter serrated head for greater leverage. The clamps are constructed from brass and plated for corrosion resistance.

The product description says this is made of brass, which specifically is why I bought it. This is simply not true. The adjustment knob appears to be aluminum, and corroding badly after just a few days of clamping a fountain hose. I'll be returning this.

Received the clamp and immediately tried it out on a piece of 1/2" ID vinyl tubing. Before the tube was clamped shut the device jammed and the entire frame bent. Very poor quality...actually, no quality. Save your money and buy a pair of vice-grips.
