I haven't installed the seat cushion springs yet but appear to be same as original ones.

These springs fit under the seat on a zt1 42 inch cub cadet mower perfectly.The springs allow the ride rmto be super soft and pliable. I drilled 2 small holes in the seat frame, used 2 stainless bolts with 4 stainless washers wit 2 nylocks and it is done, easy for everyone to install

Using my new Husqvarna rider made my back hurt so much that I thought I'd have to trade it for something else. Then I found these springs on Amazon. One of the positive reviews showed me that using 3/8 by 1 inch carriage bolts, these springs could replace the rock-hard rubber bumpers the came with the machine. I simply removed the old bumpers by unscrewing them from the bottom of the seat. Then I removed the seat adjustment knobs, and had enough room to install the new 1 inch carriage bolts. I used flat washers and a locking nut to fasten the new springs to the seat bottom. Finally, I stuck on a couple of furniture moving gliders for the springs to rest on.The difference in ride was amazing! The seat springs took all the back breaking jolts out of the ride, and I can now use my mower in comfort.

Used these to replace the rubber stops on my fathers JD tractor. They are a little taller out he box then the snubbers but we can modify that if we need to later by removing coils. Right now they are great for me at 295lbs.

My Husqvarna TS242XD is supposed to have the most comfortable seat in class. Unfortunately, it rides like a corncob because of the stupid rubber isolators that are supposed to work as shock absorbers. I replaced them with these by buying 3/8 x 1" carriage bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts. I also added a 1/4 rubber pad for the spring to set on. Much more comfortable. If they break, I'll buy another rather than putting the rubber isolators back on. I have had the dead man's switch disconnected "for testing purposes" since I got the tractor, but it doesn't look like that should affect you if you want to keep it.
