The carb itself was cheap. That being said, it worked great. These are not easily rebuilt, so if you are having issues, just replace the whole unit. This kit had slightly different gaskets than my original did, and so I mixed and matched. Just grease your gaskets (new or old), and they should seal fine.I did not use the shut off valve, since mine wasn’t broken, but the fuel filter flows properly.I used the included spark plug because I’m too cheap to buy a good one. My advice, if you also do this, is to buy a backup and keep it in your garage (or somewhere near where the mower will be used) if the cheap one goes out, you’ll be able to fix it in a few minutes.Honda made this a difficult carb to install, but that’s to be expected. Take your time with it, and it’ll work just fine. This whole kit was more than adequate for what your lawn mower will need, besides an air cleaner.
