Connection is just as easy just press the two halves together. Viton o-rings for a leak free connection. Can be used with any type fuel. Will work with 1/4" I.D. fuel line. Duel shut off valve, closes on each side when disconnected. Will not work with fuel injection systems. Will not work on systems with any pressure.

Bought these for a 6 gallon Marine fuel tank because they needed to be stored at the end of the day. Works as advertised and super easy quick connect. Highly recommend.

I was under the impression that this would stop the fuel flow while disconnected. That is not the case. That's not a huge deal. The main issue is that it leaks when connected, making this completely useless. I'm not talking about a slight leak. It runs out steadily. Probably lost a gallon in a day

If you are getting this for you KTM or Husky, don't expect them to be interchangeable. These two connectors will only connect to each other. Neither one separately will connect to what you have on your KTM or Husky. Be warned! And they don't look like same quality as OEM. I got these to make a hose end for a fuel pressure tester. But since they won't connect to my bike, they are useless. If you are using these to replace what you have, and you're replacing both at the same time, then you might be fine. But good luck using a pressure tester in the future unless you change everything out with these.

I hooked this into the fuel line under my gas tank and when it is closed (connected) there is a small leak, which means it is unusable.

Bought 2 and was easy to install but gas leaked from the female side on the connectors.
