I did read the instructions but could find nothing on YouTube in regards to “adding packing” for wall depth greater than 4.3 inches.Long story short, the part that screws in to press the Wall Web firm fell out and into the wall. Now I have a 25 dollar repair item that’s expanded in the wall, cannot be folded back down and will end up an artifact for whoever rips the drywall down to studs in the future.Love the product idea but they need to add some slip on extensions that allow you to measure and fit the wall web to the application.

I saw a little YouTube short about this product and I thought I’d give it a shot since I don’t like the steel mesh patches that go on top and needs to be blended in.When it comes to installing this Behind the wall patch. I found it quick and easy to install. I found that you have to carefully Pull the center ring Tab and wait for the mesh to fully Expand, there are tiny little locking tabs that click into place once the mesh is fully spread out. Once I completed that I moved onto using a screwdriver for the adjustment screw so it be Held in place.

Ring around stub sticks and makes it impossible to unfurl the mesh inside wall after unscrewing. My hole was about 4" in diameter. After struggling to unfurl it, it finally dropped down behind the wall. Went to Lowe's to get something else.

I damaged the interior side of the wall facing the backyard when I was installing a door for our cat. I tried one product first but it was not easy to work with. The difficulty was how to keep the patch pad in place. Then I found this tool and it just works! In my case the distance between the interior and exterior drywalls is about half inch greater than the max extension of the tool’s backbone. But the problem is easily fixed by inserting in a piece of wood. I am not very handy and never fixed a drywall before. I’m glad I found this product that helps me do it so easily and makes feel like a professional 😃

I requested the WALLWEB Drywall Repair Kit for my husband to have on-hand in event we put a hole in one of the walls. The product looks to be well-made but I think the fact that it is circular by design, limits when and where this device can best be utilized. Size is limited to a diameter of less than 4.3 inches and, the spot MUST be that large to accept the device. Seems to me that opening up a 2-inch-long linear gash in a wall, to a 4 &1/4-inch hole, just seems counterproductive. I like the idea, but, again, I think it is useful in a small range of scenarios.
