I can’t believe how much my kitten LOVES this toy. The motion-activated ball zooms around unpredictably and the little elastic tail drives her absolutely wild. I was surprised at how well it works on both hardwood and carpet. It goes really fast on hard floors and slows down just a little on carpet. I honestly prefer using it on carpet because it's a little softer as it zooms around. There is a faster and slower mode so you can adjust. My kitten loves the fast mode, and my older cat actually likes playing with it when it's off. I think it's a little too wild for her on. It chirps constantly which gets her attention but quiet enough that it isn't super distracting. It comes with a cable that's a little on the short side, but it's nice that it's rechargeable. It's honestly a really nice way to keep my energetic kitten entertained.

My cats love this, all ages. We recently got a kitten and wanted to get a new toy for him, and the attachment that screws on is shiny and drives him mad! Unfortunately two of the little shiny plastic tail pieces came off while they were playing with it, but not the whole thing. We have bigger cats too, so they can get a little rough with things. My cats stalk this thing and I love that you can recharge it. It's a great fun toy for them.

My cats are having fun chasing this interactive toy. It moves and whistles like a bird (no way to make the birdsong stop) and teasingly stops for a few seconds before moving again. Of course, it will end up behind stuff where I can’t go, but they’re having a great time while it’s still active! It was easy to charge on a USB C.It comes with a second tail and says the tail is consumable and to change it when needed. It looks like the first tail is glued in so I’m not sure how the best way to change it.

My kitten loves this thing, it's great for getting her to run around an expend a lot of her energy. It's good at getting itself into some weird spots, but also pretty good about getting itself out of them. I occasionally have to go retrieve it and toss it back into the open. Regardless, it's pretty durable, I've only have one mishap where I had to put one of the pieces back into place after I tossed it and it landed on it's side and popped out of place, but no big deal, just popped right back into place and went on about it's rolling and torment of my cat, haha. I only wish the bird chirping could be turned off, but other than that it's great!

My cat is somewhat interested in this interactive, rolling ball cat toy, but I think he might need more time to warm up to it. He is a string lover and a chaser, so I expected him to love this, but perhaps I'm expecting too much.This little ball has three speeds, but I found the blue mode (default) to be the best for my hardwood with short area rug combo floors. Changing the speed worked just fine, after I was able to catch the thing.I really like that this comes apart for cleaning. Despite vacuuming as if my life depended on it like every pet owner, there's still hair that this little ball will find and try to eat. Luckily, the whole ball comes out of the little plastic bar, so cleaning wound up hair on this was the easiest thing I've ever cleaned cat hair off of.The tails you can attach to the ball are also screwed into it: you decide which tail you want and just screw it into the slot on the plastic bar. This makes it really easy to change out tails or clean it up after it's been dunked in the water bowl like mine did.I do not like that you can't turn off the bird sounds, even though I knew it when I purchased it. While it's pretty quiet, it sounds a bit distorted, which is why I think my cat stares at it so concerned. The motor that runs the motion for it seems almost louder than the bird sounds, so for the most part, it's drowned out for me.
