It took a little time for my Boston to get used to the lights and movement, but she ended up loving it. Funny enough, she often plays with it even when it’s off—just carries it around like a regular toy. It’s a great way to keep her occupied, especially when I’m busy. I like that I can recharge it easily instead of dealing with batteries.

I got this toy for my 7lb energetic puppy. They toy itself is well made, and in the middle separates to open. Once you open it has the buttons to change the spinning mode and play a little tune. Not gonna lie, my puppy loves it, but it is annoying. It has great lights, spins, plays music, etc. Although I wish it had a button that turned it off quickly, rather the button to turn it on/off is also the different mode/setting button.

I was so disappointed in this ball. My dog played with it for 15 minutes. It quit working and I can't even unscrew it to see if there is something lose on the inside. I would never have paid the price for this poor quality of ball.My dog absolutely loved the ball and was so upset when it quit working.I just wish there was some way to unscrew it. It is stuck really good and I even had the neighbor to see if he could unscrew the ball.

My 12lb Maltese chases smart-rolling chirps for 40min straight. 3 modes + self-charging magic survive her 'zoomie mode'.

My 17 pound small dog kept tearing up the cat version of these type toys so I opted for something more sturdy. This toy works great and is very interactive but maybe a bit too much for my small dog. Because he could easily grab and toss it, and the ropes swing so fast he kept getting smacked in the face, he decided to not play with it. I think a larger dog, who is more playful would enjoy it.Update- I gave the toy to a friend’s large boxer, and wow! He absolutely loved it. She told me he doesn’t normally play with toys, but he proved her wrong. He played with this non stop until he literally was laying on his side panting. It wore him out! She also said he broke anything she tried to give him in the past because his jaw is so strong, but he didn’t break this. So, I can definitely recommend this for a large playful dog.
