I have been trying to get things that occupy my dog a bit longer or make him work for his food/treats. When this came, I knew by looking at the rope that I couldn’t hang it in his crate because he likes to chew on ropes, shoes, gloves, etc and I could already tell that he would end up tearing up this rope and trying to eat pieces of it if he was unsupervised. His second time being given the ball and rope, he had chewed through the braid and the rope was in small pieces

Super good for distracting puppies in the cage. I have pugs so they're screamers. By the time they're done licking the filling out of this they forget that they're upset. Perfect for bedtime or for caging them before errands.

The product photo shows the ball in a crate with a small dog. I purchased this item for my 13 lb dog, however, it was much too large for her mouth. My guestimate is this item would be OK for for dogs who are 40 lbs and up.
