The Comfort Plush Elevated Airbed is a part of the Dura-Beam series of airbeds that are providing amazing durability for years of lasting comfort. The secret is in the Fiber-Tech beam construction, which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. Each bed is covered in plush flocking that is soft to the touch, and the horizontal air chambers provide added stability and support around the entire bed. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for durability. And best of all, the Comfort Plush mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button.
The Comfort Plush is raised 18 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 60 by 18 by 80 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Comfort Plush Queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage).

Intex Comfort Plush Elevated Dura-Beam Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump - TwinI needed a bed to replace the one that my brother has me sleep in when I visit. I normally sleep in a hammock, so it made sense to me to go with an airbed because I could deflate it some, but I have had airbeds in the past that were not so great. When fully inflated, this bed is super firm and remarkably stable. But I can't have that. My goal was to mimic my normal hammock conditions. For that, I inflated it fully, put a pillow under my knees and another couple under my back and shoulders/head, and let some air out of the mattress hoping my butt would sink. It Worked!!So I had quite a stretch over my head to reach the release valve, but with some perseverance I prevailed. The motor and valve package is very nice. They say four minutes - I guess that's accurate. It was pretty quick to inflate and to deflate. There is one valve which you turn clockwise if you want to inflate and counterclockwise if you want to deflate completely. I mean, if you just turn the knob CCW it will start to release air, but if you go all the way, you can expel the air with the motor. It's faster and definitely more complete than I would be able to do without it. Once you vacuum all the air out of it, it folds in thirds lengthwise and folds/rolls up very nicely and much smaller than the bag they give you.One other nice design feature of this valve/motor unit that is built in, aside from the very smart cord storage compartment built in, there is a hole in the center of the open/close valve that allows you to insert the nozzle of another pump if this one dies or if you need to do it with batteries or whatever. Good lookin' out.I love that it is 18" high because it is easier to stand up from. A 'normal' airbed would be either right close to the floor or I've had one that was two twins that you could stack which was really unstable. This one is very nice and stable - until I let the air out. It was interesting that once I let enough air out of it to do what I wanted, it became easy to become off center. It turns out there is a center line which, if you can stay on it, will remain pretty stable. But once you stray from that, it wanted to send all the air to the other side and then it felt like it wanted to roll me out. Also, the diminished pressure took away from the ease of getting up from it because as you got up, your hands sunk down into it and so didn't help to push you up.I realize that I am using this in an unconventional way and one for which it was not designed, but all things considered, it performed very well - even the way I used it. I may as well offer that a friend of mine has one and she absolutely loves hers. (I didn't know about hers until after I had mine, so our feelings about them are not influenced by the other)

It took about a week of inflating to stretch it enough for it to be comfortable. Pump is loud but quick.Update: after two months of use the pump stopped functioning. Unfortunate.

Its good and atleast better than sleeping on the ground in freezing winters. Easy to carry and also its strong and bumpy. The only con it has is that i cant relax myself backing the wall because it slips.

The first one of these that I purchased was faulty, and deflated the first night. So I registered a return with Amazon, which was a simple and stress-free process. They sent my new air mattress before I had even shipped out the faulty one! I received it two days later. The second one arrived in perfect condition, and is more comfortable than most beds I have slept on, It is firm and comfortable, and sheets stay on it with no trouble at all. I sleep on this mattress 3-4 nights a week, and I actually prefer it. The height is perfect for getting in and out of easily, and the inflate/deflate mechanism works quickly and flawlessly.

It took a long time and a lot of beds, but I think I finally found one that is right for my and my wife's camping trips! We have used many different beds and they all have fallen short of our needs. We used to camp in the middle of nowhere so having a battery operated pump was a must. But we are older now and mostly stay at sights with electrical hookups. So having this ultra fast to bring up and down bed is great. The height is a bit large and requires a larger tent to house it, but it makes up for itself by not deflating so that you and your significant other fall into each other through the night. As air gets colder it takes up less space so when we camp in the High Sierras our old bed used to shrink so much in the night that we had to pump it up several times. This one seems to have a much better system for keeping the air in and once in and so big even a quarter of the air coming out means your bed is still very tall. You won't find yourself lying on the tent floor.Pros+ Self contained pump+ Pumps out air as well so you can actually put this thing back into its bag!+ Very large so it will keep a lot of air throughout the eveningCons- Much firmer than most beds, can be different for those used to a plush bedI would recommend this bed to those who enjoy camping and have a large tent or to those who will have guests coming and need a quick way to give them a bed. For the latter usage it is actually nice that it is so tall. You don't feel like you are sleeping on the floor.* I am 250lbs and my wife is 160lbs and it supports us both comfortably.

Update, 11 August 2014):Ok, it has now been over 90 days and I still like the mattress. However, I need to update the following:1. The bed has stretched a bit and is now no longer a perfect square. It has started bulging just a bit on the ends and in the middle. It is enough that putting on queen fitted sheets now is a bit of an issue. It can still be done, but you need to let some of the air out in order to do that and then refill it.2. I am now having to add air every four days. It does not take a lot, but it is leaking air more than it was originally. So, for the above, I will now drop the rating down to 4 stars. It is still a much better mattress than any of the others that I have tried, but it no longer holds that rank of not changing shape or losing air.End of Update.**************************************************Original Review:I have tried a few elevated airbeds with varying degrees of success. None, however, managed to keep their shape or last very long. Still, when I read the description of this bed and it said that it had fixed the issues of keeping form, I decided to give it a try. Here is what I liked:1. After a month of continuous use, this bed has NOT changed size in ANY direction!!! It is still a rectangle, not a sort of sphere that others have changed into in that amount of time.2. Regular queen sheets fit!!! They also stay in place!! You might not think this is a big deal until you have to deal with it on a daily basis.3. This mattress had absolutely NO smell!!!!! Other I have tried had a VERY strong plastic smell for several days.4. The mattress is comfortable! Others that I have tried have very uncomfortable surfaces that have required using pads on the top of the bed to make it comfortable.5. The mattress does not seem to lose air. Again, this does not seem like an issue unless you have to deal with it on a daily basis. Since I do not remove the air from the mattress each day, it is important to me that it keeps the air and its shape which this product does. What I did not like as much:1. I am not happy that the warranty is only 6 months, but then again maybe they are trying to tell me that if anything is going to happen, it will happen in the first 6 months? So far this mattress has outlasted others that as they lost their shape also stretched to the point that seams tore in the material. In spite of the short warranty period, I am very happy with the product and would highly recommend it to anyone who might have occasion to need a temporary bed replacement.
