I got these for my daughter's for road trips. They like listening to their music & playing games on their phones during long car rides but need to be able to charge their phones too. This dongle is perfect - they can plug in their nice over-ear headphones and still charge their phones at the same time. They are compact units that fit into their earbud cases. They work great - no loss of sound quality or volume and they charge reliably - no overheating. Very nice, cost effective set.

So first of all, this adapter DOES work, even though when you plug them in to your iphone, it will pop a message up and say that it is not compatible. Lucky for us! Of course, maybe this isn’t true for all iOS versions…so just be aware.Review:Adapter has one male port, two female ports. Both of the female ports are marked with one symbol each, one as the “charging side” and one as the “headphones” side. You plug the male port in to your phone, then your charger and headphones in to their respective female ports. Slide open your iOS, and you should/may be greeted with pop-up notice that the adapter is not compatible. Close the system notice. You should be good to go - my phone still charged while playing music, at the same time.I am rating it 5/5 but just a caveat that I don’t know if it will work for all iOS versions, or if maybe some models of the iPhone won’t work. But mine is perfect!
