This is not a high-end cymbal. It is thin, rather small in diameter, and not terribly loud. Still, it's pretty adaptable, can be used as a small splash or a ride, and is nicely formed. It's great for practice or a beginner, since it is not terribly loud. Since it is rather thin, it probably isn't the most durable cymbal you could buy, but it held up to my somewhat basic testing. It sounds quite nice, though it is a higher pitched cymbal with shorter sustain.
