This hat is such a great quality! It is built very solid and does not flatten out! I got the pink because my nephew is having a western themed birthday party and wants everyone to dress us as a cowboy or cowgirl. I have a small head and it kind of fits on me but it is a little small so I definitely wouldn't buy for someone with an average size head but it would fit great for a child maybe 9 and under. The band is made up of a light think metal with very detailed designs. There is a brown faux leather band with silver beads, white faux leather band with silver stars, and a tweed band under them circular charms with what looks to be a western looking star. The hat brim is not bendable it stays in shape as it should. I also love that it comes with a plastic hat form that I would highly recommend you keep for storage.

The listing images are a bit inaccurate with the look and materials that this hat are made out of. The hat which arrived is covered in a smooth pleather covering, not the fuzzy felt looking fabric in the listing images. For us, this doesn't make a difference in usability, but wanted to call it out as an inconsistency.

Got this for my daughters but my son ended up taking it over for his birthday it fit all 3 childrens heads just fine . They range from 2-5. And even a smaller sized adults head would fit it.

Advertised as fitting 6-12 year olds. My daughter is 6, and this hat is too small. I think this is more for a 3-5 year old. Otherwise the hat is very pretty in it's vibrant pink color.

I ordered this cowboy hat for my son. This hat feels sturdy and seems well built. There is a ribbon to tighten the inner rim to accommodate smaller head sizes. The star and belt are securely glued onto the hat and add a nice accent. Colors match the listing pictures. Overall, a nice quality hat for young cowboys.
