My daughter is only 9 months old but is in the 98% percentile for head circumference so I decided to buy her this hat and mittens set in a size 1-3T in hopes that a larger size might fit her a bit better. I was pleased to find that the fit is almost perfect - she has a little wiggle room in it but that just means it will last her longer. The material is soft and warm. My daughter naturally sweats a lot from her head and after being in the car with this hat on for a good 45 minutes her head was soaking wet which wasn't concerning to me but instead lead me to believe that it's just a good and warm material (again, she sweats more than the average baby so no big deal). The mittens also fit with a little room but we primarily made this purchase for the hat. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend.

The fit was perfect for my 1yo! She has a pretty big noggin and a lot of hats don't fit her, but this was perfect. I love that it has strings you can tie under the chin so they can't pull it off. These helped keep her snug and warm through a 2 hour trip to the zoo in 38 degree weather. She has also worn them while playing in the snow and they kept her hands and head warm.
