Sorry but I do not like the chain. It is very yellow (meaning looks fake and cheap). I have other 18k chains and this just looks cheap. It also arrived bent in a couple of places.

So this necklace is beautiful and easy to put on. It doesn’t tangle in my hair and goes beautifully with another necklace of mine. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of five is that I ordered an 18 inch average women’s size necklace, and I think I actually received a 16 inch women’s choker. I know the diagram said the necklace falls differently for some people, but the necklace should be at least somewhat close to what the picture to the 18 inch looks like and it’s resting around my neck like a choker. I was just a little disappointed by that and feel like I didn’t get what I paid for.

Item being reviewed: Jewlpire Sterling Silver Plated Chain Necklace for Women Girls, 1.0MM Box Chain Necklace Silver Chain for Women Thin & Sturdy Women's Chain Necklaces, 18 Inches.Price at time of order: Not listed.This necklace does not appear to be sterling silver, plated or otherwise. I've left it sitting where it'd get plenty of moisture to help speed along the tarnishing process. It hasn't tarnished at all and it has been sitting there for weeks now. It's a nice enough looking chain, but I can't recommend any product that has been described inaccurately. When I get the chance I'll be taking it to my local jeweller to confirm my suspicions. It's too bad, because it's the perfect length for use with a very lightweight pendant of your choice. And I like how the box shape feels.

It’s good only for pendants with large holes for the clasp to go through as the clasp is large in size and cannot go through a pendant with a small hole. It limits your choices of pendants .

I have a very cherished pendant that has been on I think maybe 10 chains so far. All the ones I seem to buy just break over time or the clasps go loose.I wanted to try this one as the chain is a different style and the clasp a different design.The chain itself is very pretty. It's very shiny, being silver plated, and isn't the typical chain - it's more like a solid chain than others I've had. It feels very strong and isn't super dainty, but still looks lovely with my elegant and thin pendant.The clasp is a standard style but it isn't the cheap loop ones you can get. It feels durable and the mechanism stiffer than previous ones I've had, so it gives me faith it will last (hopefully).Over the few weeks I've worn it (daily), it's showed no signs of discolouring or weakness. It's a bit longer than the 16 inch chains I wear, but I like the extra two inches meaning I can tuck it under my clothes.Overall, I really like it. It's been comfortable to wear, night or day, and is easy to take on and off myself. The necklace feels solid and good quality and it matches my slightly worn, so subtly darker, pendant perfectly. It also comes in a nice little box (in a clear bag).

This is a lovely necklace the clasp is very easy to use and the necklace sparkles in the light. I just have a couple of reservations about it. If you want to use it as a pendant the end fixings on the chain might limit what you can fit over the ends. The lobster clasp is attached by a jump ring but it is attached to the same slightly bulky chain end. It could be that being a box chain, that it’s not possible to make the ends a bit slimmer? If it was possible it might have been better to have the end attached with a jump ring which could be removed and a fine pendant put on the chain and then replace the jump ring and end fitting.Also for the price of the chain the packaging is quite inadequate. A smaller box of a better quality would have been better than the oversized box and plastic bag that the chain came in. Especially if you want this for a gift. Lovely chain though despite the blips of packaging and end fitting.

This is a nice chain but it's very very fine, so need to be careful you don't pull on it too much. Their 18" is really a 16" so beware not very long more like a choker if you had a larger neck. All in all though it's quite a nice dainty little chain. The one thing that lets is down is it's in a polythene bag, just put in a bare box with no sponge or anything in it, if people were getting for a gift the box is pretty poor usually they have a little sponge in the to put the necklace on but just an empty box. A bit poor really, hence the 3 stars
