This version's Max-Grip texture and slightly denser structure make it perfect for me. ”

By far my favorite pick. Small enough with enough grip where it doesn't slide

Great grip, very good for speed and precision. They look great and fiction even better. Perfect size for people who like smaller picks like a jazz III and good value for money. Function as a pick should.

I used to drop picks constantly, I tried the Max-Grip Jazz III and those worked fairly well but still dropped them if I got too sweaty. These picks are a huge upgrade and have amazing grip on them, haven’t dropped a pick since I started using these!

My absolute favorite picks. I prefer these over jazz III Max Grips. They also have a fantastic aesthetic.

Matt's and Mick Thompson's are both my top picks. These last a long time, occasionally do have to clean out grim and skin and then they are as good as new. A nylon brush handles it nicely. Highly recommend these if you are a jazz III fan or just want to try and awesome really long life pick.

so as a guitar player i get to use pics every day. These pics are great. Nice material, nice fee to it. I give it 4 stars due to the fact that when i held one of these pics in my fingers, they turned out to be very small. Other then that they are great to use and play with

Além de ser uma cor muito bonita, possui um grip fantástico. A primeira impressão é estranha, pois a palheta realmente gruda na mão. Mas após se acostumar, a palheta fica excelente.

I've always been a fan of smaller picks, like the Jazz III, but various things like the grip or material meant I was never 100% happy- then the Matt Heafy edition came out and solved all my issues. It's a very similar size and shape to the Jazz III (pictured next to the MKH Jazz for comparison) but has a very strong grip (I'd argue even better than the Max Grip model) and the material feels much nicer than the plastic-y Jazz III. I'm not sure what material is used but it reminds me of the Ultex Dunlops. The point is sharp enough for precise picking and the edge is smooth enough to push through the strings with ease, but not quite as much as the smoothly beveled Flow picks. All in all, this is probably the perfect pick me- if you're a fan of the smaller picks like the Jazz III or the John Petrucci then I'd recommend these. However the small size may not be to everybody's tastes and it can take some getting used to.

I've experimented with several different types of picks throughout my years of guitar playing. In all honesty, I'm still fairly new to the Jazz III line. A couple of years ago I started using the Jazz III Max Grips because of the grip that they offered. I loved standard Tortex picks, but always had to add scoring to them to maintain grip while playing. The max grips fixed that, though after some time, they did began to get a teeny bit slick in the grip section. Enter the new Matt Heafy signature Jazz III's! Problem solved! The grip section on these picks feels much more raised and pronounced than on normal Jazz III's, and I absolutely love it. Having used these for a few days now, I've had zero issues with the pick moving. This thing locks in to place between my fingers. The thickness is 1.36mm which I find to be pretty ideal for what I play. And while these picks, just like normal Jazz III's are small, they certainly help improve pick speed and accuracy.Overall, if you're looking for a solid pick that you won't lose grip on during play, whether jamming in your room or on stage, you can't go wrong here. Excellent picks and highly recommended!

Great picks, the grip definitely helps ! A touch on the pricy side IMO. But these are worth a try if your pick tends to shift or slide out of your fingers
