My dogs do not like pate' type dog food..... They probably wouldve ate the food, if it were chunky or sliced in a gravy.... And what little they ate, they displayed diarrhea

I have 2 dogs. One of them will eat this and the other won't touch it. She will eat the pate version though. This "chopped recipe" looks a lot like pate, but there is something different about it that she doesn't like. Amazon currently doesn't have the pate version of Jinx canned food. I am hoping to be able to have an easier time finding it in the future.

I have two small dogs and they absolutely love this food. One of my dogs has a very sensitive stomach. This is caused her no distress and a huge bonus is their breath smells better. I also bought their turkey treats which they also love.

I’ve been rotating through different wet foods trying to find something my dog both enjoys and digests well, and this beef variety has become an instant favorite. From the moment I opened the first can, I knew it was a winner—he practically danced around the kitchen waiting for me to dish it out.The texture is definitely a thick pate, so it takes a bit of spoon work to scoop, but honestly, that’s a small trade-off for how packed it is with wholesome ingredients. Real beef as the main protein, plus sweet potatoes and no fillers? That’s a huge win in my book. I also love that it’s grain-free, which is important for my dog’s sensitive system.I mainly use this as a topper with his kibble, and not only does it make mealtime exciting again, but it’s also helped keep his digestion regular and his coat looking healthier. I’ve had zero issues with upset stomachs or refusals to eat—quite the opposite, actually. He now recognizes the sound of the can opener and comes running like it's a steak dinner. If you’re looking for something clean, nutritious, and actually enjoyable for your pup, this one’s worth every penny. I’ll definitely be keeping it stocked.

We have a 70lb Shepsky, shepard/husky mix, named Sheppa. She is 100% food motivated, but unfortunately for her is very sensitive. Other than unseasoned chicken, pork, fish or other proteins, she can't have any people food. We would also let her have some safe for dogs fruit & veggies, but those she wants nothing to do with. After some sensitivity issues as a 1 year old, her vet has had her on Science Diet for sensitive stomach & skin (which she also has occasionally) since. She's a bit over 4 now. No matter your feelings on that specific dog food, I know if I were her, I'd be bored to death. Who wants to eat the same dry dog food day in & day out. It gets old, plus research shows the best diet is a mix of wet & dry, along with fresh/raw. Because we have to be so careful about new things, I read every ingredient & look things up the best I can. I want her to have the added benefit of wet food, the moisture content & taste profile, but I definitely don't want to upset her tummy. After finding Jinx & seeing it was made in the US, I was curious to try it....well, she was 😉.I like the ingredients list. Proteins are the first 3 ingredients, not bi-products of (which depending where they are sourced & the grade can still be ok, but whole protein is still better imo). There are no added flavors or dyes/ colorants in the ingredients list. That's great. The vitamins & minerals she needs are there, along with veggies. She has gained 3-4 lbs in the 2 years. Some of it was just going from a teen dog, to an adult, but we have also been watching her diet & exercise more. I like the wet food is not as fat & calorie heavy as dry food. It can be filling without fattening. The cans are a good size. I guess maybe a bit higher priced, though I think you can expect to pay this for lots of foods now, or more.It spoons out easily into her bowl, it's a good texture. It doesn't make a mess & is easy for her to eat. I like to break a can up into 3 servings. I mix water into the food & stir it up. I know she is getting moisture from the wet food itself & then more from the addition of extra water.Sheppa gets so excited when she hears me open one of these cans. Even if it's already open & I pull it out of the fridge, she will smell it from the other room & come trotting in. I love that she enjoys the food, to her it's like cake, but it's also good for her.
