I foolishly left it out last winter with out getting it cleared of water and it damaged this part. Luckily it was fairly easy to change. It does take some strength to screw it on well. I used a pipe wrench.

Seems to be well-designed and manufactured. Rubber gaskets seal well - no drips. Makes connecting/disconnecting water hose to/from pressure washer a breeze. Not likely to break or to get lost like the hose-side of the stock plastic quick-connect that come with the smaller Karcher pressure washers.

My original connector started leaking, and after taking it off, I realized that the seals and metal had worn out. The replacement worked as expected. I'm guessing the reviewers with leaking issues may have been missing one of the washers or the washer is damaged. For such a simple item, the price seems high. I suspect I could have found something cheaper if I had looked around.

This garden hose adapter is a far superior to the flimsy plastic quick connect hose adapter that came with my K2 power washer. This should have been included in the original packaging. It's makes a positive, water tight connection that will allow you to move your power washer around without constantly worrying about the quick connect becoming disconnected.There are absolutely no issues with leakage. The adapter comes with a gasket in both the male and female sides. I also used plumbers tape on the inlet receiver as added peace of mind.

Wish I had bought this right away, as the quick-disconnect that came with my K4 was very difficult to thread on to my (new) hose. This spun right on and I gave it a quick 1/8 turn with some channel lock pliers to make sure it was tight. The hose spins right on/off with no troubles at all. Very pleased with it overall.Other reviewers mention this leaks, but I haven’t had any problems with it. Maybe some debris on threads or not quite tight enough?My only quibble/suggestion would be to skip the display shelf packaging it came in. A plain little brown box would be fine...
