This is a nicely constructed, relatively inexpensive, instrument. I had it delivered across the country to enable music making with my grand daughter without having to bring my tenor ukulele across.It has worked out well. It would also be a good beginner instrument should she have an interest when she is a little older.

I’m a beginner and this seems like a very nice ukelele. Taking me a while to get the hang of it, but it’s very enjoyable. Had an issue with the tuner not seeming accurate, but it’s accurate the majority of the time. I also use a phone app to tune just in case to get the tune right.Haven’t utilized the cd yet and I didn’t see that it came with a pick, so you’re going to have to invest in one of you plan to utilize for specific songs.

Inreally like the Concert size neck! I have been playing it for a few days now with the original strings. I would like it a little bit brighter, so will be changing out the strings for Aquila Reds. But all in all i really enjoy this mixture of the soprano and concert very much!!

This Kala product is quality. I have purchased 7 Kala ukuleles, different sizes and models with costs ranging from $50-350.00. Each ukulele was made with quality fit and finish. They all sound great and stay in tune after the initial break-in period.

Very nice little uke! If you, like me, want to play a soprano ukulele but can't fit the frets, this Kala KA-SLNG ukulele may be your solution to the large-fingers-soprano-ukulele problem. It is a standard size concert ukulele neck on the soprano body. The nut (top fret) width is 1 3/8", and 1 5/8" at the 12th. Sound is excellent and the intonation is right on; which I have come to expect from anything Kala puts their name on. Open geared tuners are very smooth in operation. Beautiful gloss finish, no sharp fret end issues. Gig bag is lightly padded, dual zipper pulls, back straps and carrying handle, small zippered storage pocket. Tuner and polishing cloth included and a "How to play ukulele DVD". Austin Bazaar does a good job on these "package" deals that they sell on Amazon: Only drawback to that is that even with Prime their shipping will take about a week. I would recommend buying one of these ukes instead of the standard soprano, well worth the price difference and far more playable.

Fantastic uke! I LOVE the playability and intonation on this little thing, and boy is it resonant! It is as loud or louder than my tenor, and with the extended neck, much more playable than a regular soprano... Maybe one day I will add a smaller uke to my collection, but for now, this is absolutely perfect for me needs.

I looked all over and failed to find a detailed review for this ukulele, so I bought it hoping for the best, and oh boy did I score.Let me just start out saying that the seller did an amazing job, the whole package came two days after I ordered it with free shipping. When it came, the box was in perfect condition, and so was everything inside.This Ukulele is very very very beautiful, the wood is a deeper and darker wood than the picture, but it looks even better than you could imagine. The ukulele is VERY loud, and the acoustics are amazing. Definitely the best ukulele you could find for such a great price. I highly recommend getting this ukulele, and from this sender.Not only did it come with a ukulele, it came with a tuner, and a gig bag and a cleaning cloth. The gig bag was nothing special, but it did seem like it can protect your ukulele from a drop as high as you would regularly be carrying it, and it also includes a nifty pocket for felt picks and your tuner etc. The tuner that was included isn't the one that is shown in the picture, it is actually one that is quite a bit nicer, it is small and works like a charm, and instead of tuning through a microphone it actually tunes through the vibrations in your ukulele, so you could tune it in a busy room and still get it tuned to a t.Anyway, overall this is the best hundred dollars I have ever spent, and for the price this product blew my mind. It is one of the best ukuleles that you can buy and I HIGHLY recommend this to anybody thinking about getting one.
