I bought this for my 2011 Jetta as I had gotten the car used and the mirror was shattered and some of the housing destroyed.After watching a video and taking it slow, the process was fairly easy with regular tools and it took me about 1.5 hours to get it swapped out (door trim panels being the hardest part, I recommend nylon trim removers before attempting).The mirror using itself is practically identical apart from the plastic cap. My Jetta is silver and the plastic came as a weird grey/beige colour. Not a big deal for myself personally, as the cap from the broken mirror was still intact so I was able to transfer it. But this could be annoying if you don’t have that luck.Heating unit, LED blinker, and motor control all work flawlessly.
