The leather was of good quality with no blemishes found. The smell of leather lingers with this bag and is a nice sign that the leather is genuine and not synthetic. Attached to the bag with the tag, is an embossed leather tag, with the brand name of Kattee. This leather tag is a sample of the actual leather that the bag is made of so that you can clearly see the thickness and backside of the leather. It is also handy if you wanted to take a small sample to match it to shoes or other leather accessories.About the Bag Shape:I am in between my thoughts on the bag shape. It does have an offset shape (as shown in the photos, if you are looking closely) rather than an even curve on both sides. On one opinion, the bag has a creative offset look that is different and original. On the other opinion, I wonder if it would have looked better as an even curve with the same measurements one each side, creating a more uniform shape. Over-all I have decided that it really doesn't matter that much either way, as the bag is a gorgeous genuine leather bag that is made well and of very good quality.About the Liner:The inside liner is satiny smooth but feels like a strong fabric that will be long lasting and sturdy. It is a complementary caramel color. There are 4 slots inside the bag for holding credit or ID Cards. There is a leather sewn imprinted brand label on the inside of the bag.About the Stitching:The stitching on this bag is even and well placed which is one of the signs of a good quality leather or fabric bag. The stitching binds the bag together as well as holding the zippers in place and looks really good. The purse strap is outlined with stitching as well, and is also sewn with even and well placed stitches.About the Zippers:- The zippers are a bright, shiny golden metal. The metal hardware all has a luxurious and polished look. There is attention to detail on the front zipper pull as the name brand of Kattee is imprinted on the pull itself. The label of Kattee, is also imprinted in gold on the leather of the back of the bag.- The zipper for the main section of the bag has a permanently attached leather zipper pull that is held in place firmly by a golden rivet.About the Pockets:- The zippered front pocket is large enough to hold my oversized phone, a Galaxy S24 Ultra that is inside a phone case. I am able to zip the pocket closed completely with the phone inside.- The inside zippered pocket also holds my same oversized phone and is able to be zipped closed.- The back side pocket also has a magnetic closure that holds it shut while holding my over sized phone inside. The magnetic closure is a strong enough magnet power to hold my heavy oversized phone inside when I put the bag upside down. (As long as I didn't shake the bag too much with the phone inside.) I was pleased with the response of the magnetic closure.- The fact that all of the pockets will hold my phone with enough room for closures, is an important feature for me.About the Strap:The adjustable strap is permanently attached to the bag by shiny golden metal hardware. You will never lose the strap as it is actually sewn to the hardware and firmly attached to the bag. The buckle is good quality and of a nice weight and is of the same shiny and polished golden metal.More & Conclusion:I was not familiar with the brand name of Kattee when this bag was ordered but I thought I would give it a chance since it was posted as being genuine leather. I have purchased many leather bags and other leather items in the past and know what good quality is, and this bag checks all of the boxes for that. At the asking price of $54.00 when ordered, I have to say that this isn't just a fantastic value, it's a literal steal! The only things missing on this bag are an over priced price tag, and a fancy and well known designer label. Kattee, just might be one of the next designer labels that you become more familiar with! I totally recommend this bag to family, friends and anyone looking for a wonderful leather bag for a superb price point.

This Kattee moon shaped handbag is a very nice quality. It’s real leather and sewn neatly. Stitches are strong and hardware is substantial good quality metal. I have other Kattee bags as well, and they hold up well with frequent use. The taupe color is a beautiful neutral.

I meant to order this item in brown and was disappointed when I opened the package to find a black purse, something I have no need of. But I unwrapped it nonetheless, and it was lying on the kitchen counter when my 20-year-old granddaughter walked in. She spotted it immediately. I told her I'd ordered the wrong color and was wondering if she or her mom might like it. Wow! She absolutely glommed onto it. And that tells everything about this purse. An extremely stylish young woman loved it at first sight, hung it from her shoulder, checked out the insides, admired the leather and the gleaming zippers etc. "Are you sure you don't want it??" she kept asking, and I assured her I did not. "It's perfect! I'll use it every day!" she raved. And that's how I ended up happier than I would have been with a new brown purse for myself.

I love this purse so much! The color is beautiful and the leather is extremely soft. This bag is great for daily outings when you don’t want to carry your purse on your shoulder. Hands-free!

This is a very high quality crossbody black purse. It is 100% pebbled leather, very soft and yet durable. It has a magnetic pocket closure in the front, a zippered pocket on the back, and inside there are individual slots for cards and a zipper pocket. Its the perfect size purse to hold everything you need but not overbearing and heavy. It has a simplistic style but yet it's all you need.
