I noticed my 14 year old cat having occasional accidents... not going outside the box on purpose, but due to age and some early issues with rear-leg stability (that he would deny if you asked him!) little misses here and there. We started putting these boxes in our senior cat suites at the shelter I volunteer at, and I knew I had a solution. I got the two-pack in lavender (he has two boxes) - he loves them. Careful not to fill them too much. Mine may be 14, but he still paws litter like he's a kitten... we did have some over the sides, which was easily solved by decreasing it slightly. He has otherwise adapted to them well.

Very shallow, works well for senior kitties or perhaps kittens who can't climb into deep litter boxes.

I specifically wanted a lower ledge for my older (and overweight-22 pound) cat.

I have a 17 year old Tortie with severe arthritis. She started peeing outside of the litter box because she could not step up into it. This has been a godsend. No more pee pee accidents. It's expensive but worth it.

Perfect for my old kitty who is losing mobility of her front legs. The low entry point allows her to get in with ease. Pair this with an absorbent mat in front and it’s perfect!

Perfect for my senior girl. She can easily get in any of the sides. It has some kind of coating that makes it easy to scoop ie. the urine doesn’t stick . I use a wheat based litter. Also easy to wash.

The litter box works very well for an 18 year old cat who was having trouble getting into the standard taller box. The negative is the finish is not smooth and the clumping litter sticks to the bottom. I am going to try a different litter brand. This lower, larger box stopped my cat from going on the floor adjacent to the old taller box.

I know it’s for cats but I got it for my bunny who has back isssues and older. He is potty trained but was refusing to use the litter box I had because it hurt his back to get into. So I saw this one for elderly cats and my little bunny loves it. He’s able to easily get in and out of it. I’m so thankful since I’ve finally less messes to clean all around.

This is the second one in my house. My son had to search a lot to find this as his cat is very picky about the litter box she uses. Although it does require more litter than smaller boxes, the fact that the litter lasts longer and requires lesser refills is a plus.

I have purchased at least 4 of the litter boxes with low height entry for my kitties. This is my go-to product especially as my little ones age and experience challenges. The extremely low entry allows for larger and smaller kitties to maintain their dignity and use a box, even as arthritis makes it harder for them to move around. Normal size boxes have entries that are just too high for the aging to get a step over, resulting in messes the kitties don’t want to be causing. Both my aged main coon, Ozzy and a little lynx point tabby Sugar, experienced these challenges but used this product where no others were a good fit.The wide width and length of the boxes allow for the larger kitties to move freely and have room to scrape and turn. The low height can be a challenge when they can’t squat or angle appropriately, like my tuxedo kitties Romeo and Buttercup. But a little wee wee pad on the wall beside the box solves that problem, while allowing the kitties with mobility issues to be excellent at Catting and scratch up a storm after doing their business. The boxes clean easily, and retain their coating through multiple washes. I only replace them after a rainbow bridge passing, or when a kitty starts showing signs of litter box challenges and it’s time to get them their very own Kitty Go Here.As the rest of my kitty group continues to age, I feel better knowing I have the right product to fit their changing needs. My kitties can age gracefully having your product to help them at this point in their journey

Ordered by mistake; was after the 'bunny go here' and returned it as it is too large. In any case, the low side is about the same height as a regular cat litter box which I think defeats the purpose. The return and refund however was quick an easy.
