Your cart is empty.The JL-JK-OBA Onboard Air System is a heavy-duty high volume air source to inflate tires at the end of a day of four wheeling, power air lockers, air tools and of course Klein Air Horns. The kit is 100% bolt-on using common hand tools and has everything needed for a professional looking installation. The heavy-duty WATERPROOF air compressor and tank easily handle 37” tires and are protected by a steel cage with integral skid plate. The JL-JK-OBA includes a remote mount quick connect tire inflator, locking air chuck with digital gauge and pressure release. The kit can be upgraded by adding to a second compressor with mounting studs and air ports already installed (P/N JK6450); giving you the ability to air up two 37” tires at the same time.

So this air set up is perfect for my jeep jl rubicon I love the idea of having everything on the bouttm out of the way not taking up space and so far everything has been great the only downside was the hardware and installation smh. The nuts for the air compressor weren't even the right size thank God I had some nylon locking ones for that. The second issue was the bolts for the air tank brackets are super hard to screw in, 2 out of 4 were impossible to get in as a matter of fact I actually broke one forcing me to tap and drill what a headache. All in all I love this product just not the hardware and for the price you pay for this thing I would have expected better qualityed material.

Lots of missing parts. I got 0 of the 1/4" plugs in my kit for the air tank. I did get a 1/2" to 1/4" reducer which none of the holes on this tank are 1/2" holes all 1/4" holes. No problem I can pick the plugs up at a local store easy enough. Then to install the tank straps. Every welded nut is so coated in powder coating that 3 of the bolts snapped off, 1 installing 2 removing after using the weak bolts supplied snapped with very little torque on them to try and ream out the threads. Then there is no strap covers for the tank straps. Multiple back and forth so far with the company over just the plugs not being included now I have to wait even longer to figure out how to deal with these sheared bolts. I'm contimplating just cutting off the welded on nuts and have it all just lose hardware or welding on my own nuts after cutting the original ones off. What a pain. I would recommend getting high grade bolts and use from the kit sparingly.

THE GOODGood packaging. Prompt delivery. The design and parts used for assembly are well thought out and designed. The installation was easy enough since they’re videos on-line to use. The instructions are a PDF file. They recommend paperless but, in my opinion that’s a noble but not practical idea. Trying to jump around the PDF pages was a pain so I ended up printing it out. All the parts made by Kleinn were top notch. After assembly, everything worked as it should.THE BADI wish Kleinn would have labeled the parts a little better. The hardware and fittings they send with the kit were the absolute cheapest parts they could find. For what they charge for this kit I would think they would send better fittings and hardware. I noticed some metric fittings that were to be used where SAE were needed, the washers were not sized correctly. My kit was missing one of the metric bolts used to mount the skid plate. So that was a trip to the parts house and extra cost. My kit was also missing the Kleinn juice, after a phone call to Kleinn they said a good substitute was red thread locker. Another added expense and trip to the parts house. I went this route so I wouldn’t have to plead my case and then wait 4-5 more days to install.THE UGLYAbout 2 weeks after installation I went to hit my horn button and nothing. After repeatedly hitting the button it finally worked. But only very intermittently. I suspected the switch. I emailed Kleinn support and basically asked for a replacement switch since I didn’t want to have to tear my dash back apart just to test the switch. They responded and told me I needed to test the switch, I guess they didn’t hear me? So, I tore the dash apart and tested the switch and guess what, it’s bad. So, I reassembled the dash and contacted support for a replacement. At the time of this review I have not heard back from them.SUMMARYI would recommend this product to a friend because of the top-notch compressor and horn, but I would also tell the purchaser what to expect of the hardware. Kleinn, if you read this, spend 5 more dollars on your end and supply quality and correct nuts, bolts, washers, switches and include the Kleinn juice. The Kleinn juice was also missing in the JL 220 horn kit add-on I purchased. You have the best product out there, just don’t trip over pennies.
