Simple lightweight tire levers and quick link pliers in one. I have been using this for years in my other mountain bike back pack and wanted a new set for my other pack.

Obviously my park tool shop master link pliers work better... at home. but they literally weigh 4x what this little guy does... and are bulky.Bought this for travel use (I travel with a S&S coupled full sized gravel bicycle)And when I pack the bike I need to remove the chain - I run an 11speed KMC x11sl chain with a KMC master link - having this means I can save a bit of weight in my luggage and leave my Park pliers at home. This tool also serves as a pair of tire levers - so I carry them in my seat bag instead of plain ol’ tire levers. (Even though I run tubeless - when riding away from home I carry a spare tube on the bike just in case I can’t plug a puncture with my tubeless plug kit)Anyway - as a master link plier these do work - rather well, I might add. I’ll stick to my park pliers when in my home shop... but for traveling... this little guy is perfect.

I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe. There are people here who love this tool. But it doesn't seem to work at all. Not even a little bit. The minimum distance obtainable between the two plier arms is not less than the distance between two links. How can you pop a link if your pliers can't move beyond the distance at which the master link rests?? I'm using a standard 8 speed chain. Utterly flabberghasted. First time used- snapped immediately.

It can be difficult to use at first; small learning curve. But you can take it on the road to fix your chain. The Park Tool CN-10 Professional Bicycle Cable and Housing Cutter is a much better shop tool.

They take tires off. They pop master links apart. The have matching nubs and recesses to stack together. And they don't stack. The tool parts interfere with stacking. The tool would be more compact and easier to dig out of a backpack if the snap-together feature actually worked, but it doesn't. And it loses one star because of that.

Great tool that works very well. Keep in riding bag and have used many times for both tire removal and quick-links. If you break this tool you do not wrench very much and should stay away from power equipment and two-wheeled machines. SRAM power links do NOT require this tool. These will work with every other "quick link"

Search is "OVER" !!! Solid precise of fine "Equipment". Sorry to tell you that these levers will last longer than all you bikes. I have six different levers before I found those. KMC took First place. KMC make Great chain too. No wonder so many "Pro" riders run KMC chain on their bikes. Look fantastic AND work great (unlike Pandas only look Good but don't work at all)

Worked like a charm! It's the tool you never think you will need while riding, but are more than thankful to have when you need it. I've had to use it to remove the chain from behind my cassette after i bent my rear derailleur hanger. I'm going to get a set for my touring bike, as it has triple chainring set up in front (and i hated having chain suck back in the day). While i still carry a chain tool, nothing could be better or sweeter to have 2 tools in one. Tire levers w/ Master Link tool. It's made of a strong plastic, & fairly strong. It's lightweight, portable & easy to use. just gotta remember to use it properly... they aren't meant to be pliers! lolHow did it take so long for someone to come up with this?!?! worth every penny.
