KOCTHOMY Womens just arrived today and here are my first thoughts: The material is extra heavy and the purple grey color has 'earth' tones. Love the elastic in the waist area and the pockets are of good size when I am hiking. I want to point out the zipper pocket that is nice for securing keys. These are nice shorts- 5 STARS!

These are AWESOME shorts. The fabric is soft and broken in, the fit is terrific, and the length is perfect. And even though I got the pink pair, they are not super girly pink. Honestly, they feel more pink/grey and I love them. My only annoyance is the drawstring at the bottom hem. I know, that's a fashion perk, but nobody actually USES the dang thing and it just dangles there, making me feel like I have a bug on my leg. Deep pockets, waste fits good. Terrific shorts.

I love these things. They're my new favorite shorts. My one complaint was that they didn't come in regular colors- the purplish look is a little strange and hard to match. The pockets are perfect- I wore them hiking and to a theme park and was in love with the utility of them. Great fit, comfortable on my soft momma belly. Good quality- I'm not worried about it ripping! They're also not the most flattering things I've ever worn, but I'm sacrificing the look for the feel and use of this one.

I'm always leary about buying clothes without trying them on first. I ordered these in a size 16 and the fit perfectly. I've had lots of compliments. The fabric is heavy duty yet surprisingly breathable. I really love the style and amount of pockets. The photos show a belt, which is not included. Which is totally fine. I don't need it because these shorts are true to size. I highly recommend these shorts. I live them!

These are perfect for an upcoming summer trip we have been planning, but they would be great for everyday wear too. These are 97 percent cotton and 3 percent spandex, so they have a little stretch, but also breathe well too. I machine washed them prior to wearing, and they washed and dried very well! I am all about comfort, so when I say these are super comfy, I really mean it. I wore these for an all day outdoor event at work, and never felt uncomfortable, and we were constantly on the move all day long, in and out of the elements, in the heat, everything.There are lots of pockets (a total of 7 (!), with 1 zip pocket, 4 button pockets and 2 slash pockets, with many roomy and deep pockets galore, to hold all your essentials, including your phone and keys. I love all the pockets!The waistband has a stretchy band to make for a better fit, and drawstrings are helpful in preventing insects from finding you easily. : ) (You just tie them off, easy peasy!) There is no belt, but fine with that because I have plenty of belts that will look cute with these.These are very well-sewn. It was hard to choose what color to get, but happy I got the “purple gray” which is more of a khaki shade, since it is perfect for what outfits I am planning on wearing for my trip. (These are not a true khaki, but more pinkish in tone, but love the color, since it is unlike any color I have already.)I have very muscular legs so I could have sized down one size, but these are definitely comfortable and practical, so I highly recommend these, especially if you are looking for a great pair of shorts that will allow you to move and breathe, and be comfortable the whole day!

These are very well made, highly functional, and great looking hiking shorts. They are all cotton with a tiny bit of spandex for stretch. There is attention given to decorative stitching and detailing, and the shorts are fully lined, with extra facings to prevent chafing, which is far above average. I'm generally a size large, usually a 12, which is the size I ordered, and they fit just right. I haven't washed them yet, and the instructions indicate to line dry, but I'm sure I'll tumble dry them, so I can report back if they shrink with the tumble drying. These are great hiking shorts, and I also love the subtle camo print that I received.

Well made of sturdy fabric with a small amount stretch- I'm reviewing them before washing and they are very stiff. They are lined with plain cotton fabric that seems to be bonded in some way to the outer fabric. These will be warm to wear. I love all the pockets for holding tools, gloves etc. There is a short elastic area on each side to ease the waist. Don't expect these to be slimming with the big pleated pockets at the thigh and backside but they will be utilitarian.I mistakenly ordered a 10 when I normally easily wear a 12 and I can't even come close to closing the zipper so they definitely don't run large. I've ordered a 12 and I'll try to remember to update this review when the 12 comes.4 stars for overly stiff fabric
