These will work as intended to couple an item with a male thread of 1/2”-28 to an item that has 3/4”-16 and the other included size female threads, gender specificity not included. The 3/4 NPT is handy in case you have to fabricate something for the female item since that size is very common and taps are plentiful. The threads are well machined. There are no chatter marks indicating dull tooling. These are fine. There are o-ring seals included for the female threaded item.

Well made, anodizing looks good, threads are clean and smooth. There are 3 different thread sizes allowing for a wider choice of filter sizes depending on available room for fit and application. It is made of aluminum which in most situations will be more than adaquate at low pressures. If your using this at high pressure, overall longevity might become an issue. Good price.

Very well made but does not work for my vehicle.

The adapter arrived quickly and was packaged in a tiny box. It includes o-rings and the threads are clean. It fits tightly and does not leak. The only concern is that it is aluminum, and heat may cause damage. For now, the anodizing is good to go. Neat adapter to have in a pinch.

Lets be honest. We know why you want to order this. I know why, you know why, and the federal agent reading this review knows why. I'm not going to comment on the morality or legality of anything, as there are other legitimate purposes for this adapter (like the continuous oil recirculation system I designed for the vacuum pump on my freeze dryer). No matter how many tricky words, winks, or nudges are used, everyone knows the intended purpose of this adapter. So, for the rest of my review, I'll assume that anything you plan to use it for is accompanied by the appropriate paperwork.Fit and finish were good. The threads are machined accurately and they go on smoothly. The manufacturer's choice to use aluminum versus steel keeps the costs down due to ease of machining, so if you do intend to drop a form 1 with this device be aware that the stress is going to be on the threads themselves, and that aluminum will suffer catastrophic fatigue failure after a finite number of cycles. That means you're better off finding another legitimate, court-proof use for this adapter than the use we all know that you're wanting to use it for. Or just stick to rimfire. But still, do your paperwork. I'm not a lawyer, the internet is forever, and glowboys are really good at tracking patterns and connecting dots. Sure, free men don't ask, but are we really free? Are you willing to risk it?

Not the right size thread for a standard filter. Don't waste your money.
