Wave lines on Mirror Glasses should not be used to identify Heated Mirrors as more and more newer applications no longer put wave lines on heated mirrors.

These are good mirrors but...Mirrors look good, fit right, seem well made, and do not shake when driving. Glad I got them.But, they are advertised as powered. I thought this meant the blind spot mirror as well; it is not. After I received these I realized that there are only four wires with two connected. My van does not have power mirrors; I am adding this so I applied power to these wires in every way and as I suspected, only the large mirror moves. To be sure, I asked Kool Vue and was told that it is powered so I tried again and nothing. Found the same mirror, name and part number, on carparts.com; they told me blind spot is not powered.Also, just saying... The listing says it does not fit 2004 E150, my van. That seemed wierd so I ordered figuring it would fit and it does perfectly however, because I don't have factory wiring I had to remove the insert for the door panel screw to have a place to pass the wire thru without having drill a hole. This did not affect the support for the door panel.

I replaced the factory mirrors on my 2010 ford econoline...these are better than the smaller OE pair. I shopped around..dont think u can find this quality any cheaper.

why buy the OEM mirrors when the whole sale price of a single Ford mirror is more than the pair from Kool Vue. The only difference is that mirror glass is not as easy to replace on the Kool Vue since it is glued whereas the Ford glass snaps into place and can be replaced.
